Well that's not going to happen.

If I got a new Targa, would have to sell everything and live in it.

My brother just bought a used Winnebago. It has a V-10.

He made this step stool to help get in and out of it. It has a shower and microwave. Not much fun on the track I bet but it is way better for sleeping in than a Porsche.

Is that to replace or augment the micro-bus?

Would have to cook less and get a gym membership for the showers.
Don't use the microwave near as much as the toaster oven and Smoker/Roaster/Grill.
Would miss the stove top for stuff like omletes, polish sausage heated in BBQ sauce, and chili.
Could replace stove top with a hotplate. Rarely use more than 1 burner.

But yeah, living out of a Targa would be worse than one of those tiny houses.
Which I don't understand why those tiny house people don't just get an RV.
Friend's sister lived in an RV on their parents property for years.
She was into Showing her Dogs and Agility stuff.
When there was an event, she just unplugged and took off.

Used the grill part of the SRG today for lunch.
Put thin sliced ham and pepperoni on it. Heated and crisped em up.
Made into s sammuch with cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo.
It was delicious. Like a kicked up BLT.

My brother would not sell his VW Westfalia for anything close to a reasonable price. It is his hunting vehicle and as long as he can drive he will have it and his 54 Bug. He has had them both for over 35 years. Since 1974 I have had three cars, and I still own tow of them. My brother does not change vehicles even that often.

Had to actually raise the unreasonable price on my 928GTS. There were some guys that almost paid it!

A friend of ours traveled the US in an RV for three years as a family of 3. They have a 38' Allegro Bus. Seemed pretty nice. He was a work from home guy.

My great aunt and uncle traveled North America from the Panama Canal to Barrow Alaska and even further north in Canada. This was back when Mexico was a lot safer. They hired a local "protector" to get them through the different countries all the way down to Panama.

He was a retired crane operator from Boeing. They had a piece of property in Washington state that they stayed at just long enough to be considered residents. They were on the road the rest of the time. They visited virtually every city and every state many times. They ran into friends at every campground.

They went through motor homes, travel trailers and different configurations. In the end, his favorite was a motor-home pulling a car. That way they did not have to drive the house to the grocery store.

Mom had two cousins that grew up together. At one point they along with their wives travelled all around the USA in a VW Westfalla. Both also outlived their wives. One lived to within a month of his 100th birthday, Uncle Alfred.

The other, Uncle Wallace, worked for Howard Hughes as some sort of advisor. Came down with cancer, was sent to Mexico and cured. Then given early retirement with a huge pension and the stipulation he called in to HH's secretary and keep his contact information up-to-date if HH could contact him if needed. He had a Mercedes 220D he travelled all over the country in. He came down with Alzheimer's and don't think they ever found all the companies and things he invested in along the way. Uncle Alfred would visit him and find out Uncle Wallace had made a lot of Money. He started building a portfolio for Uncle Walace. Uncle Wallace's daughter found out he had Alzheimer's, came in and took over his estate. The first thing she did was selling off his beloved Mercedes. Uncle Alfred and had a pad poured outside is rest home window to park it on. Said it gave Uncle Wallace a lot of comfort and helped him keep some of his memories. When she sold it (an for not much) it pissed Uncle Alred off an he quit trying to find any investments. He said it was about the treasure hunt and not the money, but he wasn't going to make his niece any richer after she sold the car.

OK, I have an intern for a few weeks. We were working on a switch today and he used a console cable to program it and then we put it in production. I am able to connect to it via IP address, but he is not. If he uses a different computer he can. I am assuming it is something not updating on his computer. He cannot ping or connect via web or Putty. Any ideas? Will have him try in the morning.

Thanks.

I just stick em on the wall in the garage. My grill is not big enough for all the grill badges I have from Parade. I only have the War Bonner Region badge on my car. It is solid bronze.

I figure two is enough. Go to another parade I can rotate to wall mount them. Working on the wife now to attend next year's but probably without the car.

Branson? That would be CRAZY!!

PCA web site says Osage Beach, MO.
That's the Lake of the Ozarks State Park.
Just 400 miles from here.
