Yea, the new Creative whatever version of Win 10 adds nothing of value for me. Just more crap to delete. WFT Microsoft. I just want a workstation version. I don't play games. I don't have a laptop, it is a big old tower with room to grow.

I so wish they had a work computer version and not a game driven version. Ah well.

Well the races were good but when we got back mom and dad's basement had flooded since they got 12" of rain last Friday night. I figured since dad was with me and he got a call from mom who had panicked that the rain was overflowing the window well and coming down the wall. The wife, kids and I took everything out of the basement and then we sucked up all the water. Mom said it is mostly dry today and now she gets to scrub the walls down where the water came in.

We hit some pretty hard rain on the drive up. Rain-X is good stuff. At the races it was a little misty in the morning but by 2:00 was sunny and hot. Will post some pics once they are uploaded. Some early and late model Porsches there. They had some 904s but no 550s.

Rain? Whats that?

We have been in a doughnut hole for rain. The front splits, goes past the city, and reforms. Or the thunderstorms form right over the city, and move off before dumping rain. All around the city is getting rain and we keep getting drier. It is real frustrating.

As Will Rogers said long ago, "Everybody talks about the weather but no one ever does anything about it."

I am sure the area here would gladly have exported that rain if they knew! Don't these weather guys ever talk to other areas?

At some point they were getting over 2" per hour.

On more than couple of occasions I said to myself "Yanno I don't remember the last time I changed that filter" Then I checked and it was way overdue and real dirty. I ended up cussing at the moronic idiotic fool that let it get so bad. Now I set it up on my iPhone as a task. Every 3 months (or is it 4?) I change the filter and it is just about perfect. Dirty enough that it needed it but not gross yucky nasty filthy dirty.

Ah ha, that's it! Wondered why the house smelled like spaghetti, running my paper filters thru the dishwasher.

We've had plenty of rain this summer. Raining as I type.
Had a heavy rain/flood 3 weeks ago. Most of the roads held up pretty good but not this one.
Lost a little over 200 feet of it. It was gone down to were I took this picture from. Was closed for a few days.

The look on his face says he wore the shirt to a Porsche event on purpose.

The vast majority of the people there are car guys. They love Porsches but appreciate all cool cars.
