Yea, the click bait sites love to just make up stories to get you to click and it is just pure BS or something unrelated. Absolutely all the click bait stories I see, I don't click, I just go right to Google. Much easier.

A story that some famous couple is getting a divorce is never ever something I care about.

But think of how Brad and {insert wildcard name here} feel when you don't care!

Hey Jim, try yelling CUT, and see if you can get the crew to finish up for you. You live out there in the land of movies stars and cement ponds, just like the Beverly Hillbillies. Maybe it will work! ;)

Hope springs eternal.

I care about them almost 1/2 as much as they care about me.

RKDinOKC 07-31-2017 10:25 AM

Porsche-poor 07-31-2017 10:46 AM

flipper35 07-31-2017 11:11 AM

Don't you love work travel?

RKDinOKC 07-31-2017 11:19 AM

It is tough enough just getting me to go 8 miles to an office.

GH85Carrera 07-31-2017 11:31 AM

My dad was an Air Force pilot. He had been to all 50 states and almost every non communist country in the world except Australia. He had zero desire to travel anymore. After he retired mom begged him to travel. He refused. She went to England, South America and Africa and many zoo conferences in many states with her lady friends.

in this case no. I hate the heat.

RKDinOKC 07-31-2017 12:23 PM

What? Sounds like you are headed to Houston.

It's 84°F here. High supposed to be 81°F tomorrow and rainy. Summertime cold snap.

90°F in Dallas, 94°F in Austin. Houston is just hot all the time.

Porsche-poor 07-31-2017 12:31 PM

Fort Worth.

RKDinOKC 07-31-2017 12:33 PM

That area is still low 90's all week. If you can believe weather apps. Pretty sure it won't be cold enough to need a parka.

GH85Carrera 07-31-2017 12:34 PM

If you have any time get over to the stockyards. They actually have a large mostly mall like area that is air conditioned. Kinda cool old time cowboy stuff. I don't think they still have an active stockyard anymore. It has a bunch of nice restaurants.

Porsche-poor 07-31-2017 12:37 PM

We shall see. I fly out of here tomorrow and land there at 6:10 pm. Then at the conveyor builders office during the day for two days. I fly home Friday afternoon and land here at about 5.

GH85Carrera 07-31-2017 12:42 PM

The Dallas - Fort Worth area is huge. Traffic is horrible. Check out what a Uber ride would cost to get to the stock yards. If you are reasonably close, check it out. You can easily be 2 hours away. The traffic is much like Portland, stupid painful slow.

RKDinOKC 07-31-2017 12:50 PM

Went to look at a 928S in Ft Worth before ended up getting the 944 Turbo S. It was 5pm when arrived to look at the car. They guy would only let me drive it in the neighborhood, but did take me thru traffic across Ft Worth and back. He was NUTS. Hit speeds of 125 in full 5 o-clock traffic. And we as facing me talking most of the time driving one handed. Feared for my life.

Later he backed out of selling the car. Talking the car up to sell it he talked himself into keeping it.

Porsche-poor 07-31-2017 01:05 PM

yeah the crappy part is landing in the middle of rush hour. Oh well just sit and kill time in the car.

GH85Carrera 07-31-2017 01:10 PM

Yea, and DFW airport is kinda big.

Hopefully they feed you on the airplane. The food at the airport makes food at the movie theater seem cheap, and tasty.

My last airline flight was to Portland and back. Of course everything goes to DFW first. We landed and taxied for 40 minutes. The airplane taxied for longer than the flight in from OKC.
