Thanks, I have two.

Freezer had 15 pre-prepared low carb meals that are over 2 months old. The freezer has been freezing and making ice until yesterday.
Think the frozen meals are dead anyway, the veggies were getting difficult to chew after thawing and cooking. They only have about a month freezer life anyway.
Was planning to try Green Chef. Theirs are ingredients you cook with sauces and spices instead of pre-prepared frozen dinners.

Fridge pretty empty, just has drinks, condiments, and insulin. It's holding below 45°F, only needs to keep my insulin under 48°F.
It kinda warned me it was getting warmer so been just eatin and not re-stocking.

That's why I thought would get ice from Sonic. Their ice is crushed, better for drinks.

Wow -14 is stupid cold. We rarely get down to zero. It did get to -5 on February 10, 2011

There are records from back in the 1880s that I find hard to believe, of -17 in 1889. Possible for sure, but dang.

I remember driving my 911 when it was a balmy zero. I drove for over an hour and it is the only time I had the heater running on high for more than a few minutes. The oil temp never got to 125 so I could not push it very hard with RPMs kept to under 4,000.

Pete probably even wears a jacket at those temps. Rick would beat mother nature to a pulp if it got that cold where he lives.

Remember listening to a book on tape driving from OKC to Atlanta in my 914. The book was Pillars of the Earth by Ken Folleit. About the building of the flying butress cathedrals in England.

It was warm when I left OKC and as I went east it got colder. In Tennessee it was snowing and it was full on winter blizzards in the book. By the time I got to Atlanta it had warmed and it was sping in the book. It was neat having the weather match the book as I travelled.

Took the southern route back to stop off in Dallas and the weather was wet and stormy both on the highway and in the book.

After spending a couple of days in Dallas the book ended just as I made the okc city limits ending the trip and my drive.

Only listened to the book while travelling, It was 18 hours unabridged. It was the first book on tape I listened to driving on a trip. It got me hooked!
Found myself wanting my pit stops to go quicker so I could get back to listening to the book.

Dang, it's like it was winter!

When I was a kid, cold February was when we trimmed fruit trees and plowed, spread manure, and tilled to prep the orchard and garden for spring.

Good day to do a brake job on the Touareg. Think i'll fire up the wood stove in the shop first.

Pete, I enjoyed looking out that window ant that thermometer in the summer of 2016. I would not enjoy that view right now as much. Burrrr!

We are supposed to be in sunny and high 50s today, maybe 60s.

Drove my Cayenne to corner gas station after dark this evening. That limo tint is just way too dark! Gonna have to plan any trips for daylight only until get tint removed!

Burp.

We decided to g to a new breakfast place just up the road. I drove the El Camino of course. We walked in and there were just two other couples there. By the time we left it was pretty crowded. I always tell my wife it is only because of the really cool El Camino out in the parking lot. People see it in the lot and know a man of great taste drives it, and the restaurant must be top notch. That's my story and I am sticking to it!

We are back in the 50s already.

I guess tax time is pretty much here. I just set up an appointment to go spend money with my CPA.
