Starting juices. I’ll get four 12oz glasses. Having watermelon-celery now. It tastes wonderful, even a bit salty from the celery.

Now for a big slice of pizza!

Spring is here, but it got cold. Down to 35 this morning. I get to go back to shorts this weekend.

Yeah, I meant lawyer keeping the kids in line. Was just too tired to articulate but not too tired to type something.

My current insurance company sent me a letter a few weeks ago that they were no longer covering houses in Oklahoma. Crap.

So I called the agent I use, and he found a new company to insure the house, and my wife's Macan, to make it a bundle price. My 911 and the El Camino have agreed value insurance, and Mercury insurance does not do agreed value.

I had to send my agent a voided check and he set up automatic payments. I had to wade through 6 emails, and set up a username and password with Mercury. Then sign documents online.

Golly what a fun way to start Monday Morning.

I had to print my wife's new proof off insurance card. The police can pull up insurance coverage off a car from the tag, so it is redundant. And we can renew our tag (the sticker) online and they have the insurance filed as well. Just another piece off paper for the car glove compartment.

I just wonder if the price for my two car's coverage go way up because they are not bundled. We will see.

^We had that happen to us too last year. We went with another company on the recommendation of a coworker. We now pay around the same price for homeowners and flood. Very happy.

Finally home today, ended up losing just about 15 lbs. Flying sucks when you have 4 and 3 hour layovers.

So tonight is a large pizza with all the toppings!

I just learned to eat smaller portions at every meal, and lost over 30 pounds over several months. I gained it all over many years, and took several months to loose it.

Weeee. Having more fun with the boss's wife cleaning out our scaredy hole in the garage. Move the 911 forward a foot, bring down some light, and crank up the vacuum. We found one petrified skink that went exploring in a bad place. I presume in the darkness, they can't climb up the metal walls and find a way out.

Next was gather up all the water bottles, and dump out the water into the rain barrel, so she can water the plants with bottled water. Those bottles are likely three years old. Drinkable, but likely a plastic taste. I will buy a fresh case of water to put 1/2 of it down there. Yes there is a pee bag, and a 5 gallon bucket if need be.

We have only gone down there twice, and both times were out off an overabundance of caution. After 27 years of living in this house that is not bad. We are 100% safe from tsunamis, flooding of any type and landslides. The earthquakes are gone now after they stopped the waste water disposal from oil wells. No race riots to worry about. We like it when Texas is hit with a hurricane and it comes up here, and dumps a lot of rain. It sucks for Texas, but that is a risk all coastal areas face.

The biggest baddest tornadoes may devastate what they hit, but just a 1/2 a mile from the devastation is full civilization with food, water and medical help, and hotels to stay in.

And yes, we will have our dogs with us down there.

Golly the fun continues! When I plugged in the cord on the wall of the garage for the storm shelter, it was dead, no voltage, no love. Crap. I used a different outlet a bit further away for the lights and vacuum.

This afternoon in the 85 degree heat, I played at being electrician. I pulled the outlet to be sure there was not a miraculous and spontaneous separation on the connections. All were tight, so I pushed it back into the wall, and buttoned it up.

I went looking for other outlets that were dead. The front porch outlet was also dead. Hmmmmm. Very interesting!

The roofers were here a few weeks ago. I wonder if they plugged in something that popped a ground fault breaker. So I went on the hunt for the possible culprit. In my bathroom in the garage was the popped GFI outlet. In the 27 years that we have lived here, it has never popped before. Simple reset, and the magic electricity was restored to the outlet.

Score one for Glen!

The back porch outlet uses the GFI circuit for the master bathroom. It has popped a few times over the years.

Morning all had a little upset with chemo yesterday. The meds caused anaphylaxis shock. Had to zap me with benadryl, a steroid and then epi form a vial not a pen. Once stable off the ER to be watched for 4 hours incase it came back. Not fun at all.

Now I don't know what the plan for chemo is from here on out.

Scary crap David! Hopefully you take the chemo at a medical facility. Get better, and stop with the anaphylaxis shock.

I had fun, I did my 387,000 mile oil change on the El Camino. Fresh oil and filter, and lube up the front suspension. It required a nice Yuengling Lager for the mechanic's payment. And I had to pay for the dang Yuengling and do the work!

Yes the places are in a hospital. I went from the 4th floor down to the 2nd floor right to the ER.

yep after looking the meds up online I was one tick box away from being a foot note. I owe that nurse a hug at least. After her drill sarg order to go sit down while she followed me back she never left my side till the hand off in the ER. I hope that never happens again.

Give her a heartfelt thank you, and maybe a gift card from Starbucks. You were lucky to have a great nurse that cares about her patient, and not some new nurse that had no spine to demand the proper response to your crisis.

Talk to your doctor to be certain that combo is never administered to you again.

We have a warm but windy day today. I have already been warned I will be pressed into gardening service today. I don't yet know what, just it will involve helping her in her hobby.

I totally agree, but most nurses live on coffee, and they usually like Charbucks.
