One of my family friend's dad had a small wimpy F1 or F2 tornado come through his farm. It did not do a lot of damage but he went all over the place drilling holes in fence posts and putting pieces of straw in to the holes. He poked 2x4s through the barn wall in some places that were rotten. He charged people to tour the place but when his insurance agent came by he just took some quick photos and did not investigate. Everyone in the little town was talking about the amazing sights at the old farm place. The insurance check came through and he just cashed it and only fixed a few things that were about to fall over. He said the locals still talk about the amazing things they saw back in the 70s at that farm.

Golly the jury duty is a good deal. They "pay" us a whopping $20 for the day. I had to pay $8 to park, and lunch is pretty much a downtown restaurant for food. Several different places, but I paid $10.50 for lunch. I had to drive 16 miles each way so it with no doubt cost me more than I am paid for jury duty. And it is show up under penalty of law. Oh well, part of good citizenship.

Paid to have a real garage door tech come out and tweek on my door and opener. He said whomever installed it did not do a very good job. The tensions on the cables was not even balanced between the two sides. Spent an hour and a half adjusting the tracks, rollers, springs, cables, seals, and opener. I had put lithum on everything yesterday. He went thru and wiped the trolley rail and the rollers and rails down with his lithium rag. Said it made sure to leave only a thin coat and no extra to gather dust and dirt. Now it opens and closes even smoother and quieter than it did yesterday after I greased it AND closes nice and tight and no light leaks anywhere around the door.

Glad you finally took delivery of the Macan, Glen. We are under a high wind warning for tonight and tomorrow.

I'm glad our trees are bare or I think it could be bad like back in 13 when we lost several.

Have lost big limbs out of my Cottonwood several times. Luckily most times they just landed in the yard and didn't hurt anything but my back dragging them to the curb.

The time they did the damage (big hole in roof) was when they iced over and THEN we got the wind.

I will actually get a ride in the Macan tomorrow. And drive it! I have been too busy to play with it.

I was telling my brother about the new Macan. He teased that Porsche named the car after the Rifleman. That is course Lucas MaCain so close but not quite.

My brother's son, my nephew is 28 and is coming to see us on Friday. He is pulling up roots from Alabama and moving west. He has a job and a place to live lined up in the Denver area. He recently broke up with his girlfriend and he figured he might find greener pastures out west. He is big into white water kayaking. Oklahoma City has an official Olympic training center for kayak and he wants to see that. He will be here all day Saturday and leave on Sunday.

Cayenne owners often refer to them as the Pig, or Pepper Pig due to the size and weight compared to other Pcars. Do you think maybe Porsche picked the name Macan because it means Tiger in indonesian as a gotcha for Cayenne owners calling the Cayenne a Pig and figured it would "Eat" into Pig sales?

Currently 41* and gusts to 46mph here so the wind has died down with the drop in temps.

I like working with the HP Aruba switches. They have a USB port for saving/loading config files.

Could get a white trailer and tow the 911. Then Glen could take Autocross Tires for the 911!
