My buddy got caught cheating, justifiable, or is he a dirtbag?? - Page 3

Good for him IMO. If she is not giving him ass, it's her own damn fault.

20 years of marriage, sometimes twice a day. lets see, sunday morning, saturday morning, friday night, she about busted my ear drums with her thighs

, i dont think any on thursday, she worked and i had band practice. rest of the week is too long ago. could be this afternoon after work since she will be home when i get home, but i really need to get back to tearing down the shop.
its not about being tired of the same thing, its about loving the one your with. believe me, we may do it often, and it may be the same most of the time, but if you need to be differnet all the time, perhaps she is not the one, its hard to explain.

a lot of woman lose interest after babies, how can you compete with something that big.

No excuse for infidelity. I never have, never will, and I get plenty of strange thrown at me. I have too much respect for myself to ever allow that to happen.

If you are not getting any, there is a reason. If you can't work through the reason, you leave. If kids involved, it complicates things, but you are doing the kids more harm staying in a bad relationship than leaving it. I am certain there are some, at least one anyway, who would say you must stay together for the kid's sake, but that is flat wrong IMHO.

another reason why i dont want to get married , I am 24 and i have known this since in my early teens, the guy took the easy way out but he will never hear the end of it and the nookie he once got annually will be at a standstill.he better get accustomed to the spas.he must have looked like a deer in the headlights when caught ouch

I'm not going to weigh in on the question of who is wrong and who is right......who failed and who succeeded......who is a dirtbag and why and what should have been done.

I'll just say that I see little reason to change my single status and every reason to preserve it.

The cheating is a symptom, not really the problem. He's stuck with her this long, so he must feel something for her.

I cannot justify his cheating on his girlfriend. He obviously should have told her he was moving on; but after more than a decade and no offer of marriage...and a practically sexless relationship...she should have not been very surprised. Setting up a household and having children without the benefit/longevity of marriage is simply unwise...particularly for a woman.

Justified or not, your buddy made his choice and must live with the consequences.

It's not my job to judge him, it's an adult matter between two (or more) adults.

I know of someone in a similar situation, showed them some sympathy and understanding, and then found out they have a very spotty fidelity record based on geographical convenience.
