Interesting question. I've been to a few different countries, but not really enough to say.
I loved Japan, but it's not exactly super foreigner friendly if you want to move there permanently from what I understand. Scotland was beautiful. Spain also had some really great attributes. But there's still nothing like the US.

No matter how long you would live in Switzerland you cannot become a citizen. They collaborated with the Nazis to deprive people of their money

New Zeeland or Australia. They talk funny there but at least it is mostly English.

New Zealand, Germany or Denmark. Problem is that the last two tax you to death, so better be rich if you are going to any EEC country.
Have lived in Mexico, Guatamala, Germany, Saudi, Denmark, UAE (Dubai) and the UK (London) so far in life. As well spent long time periods in Russia (Moscow), Hong Kong, as well as Lagos Nigeria. Until the liberals over-populated the country, America was still the best that there is. Now we are either on the verge of becoming a full blown socialist state, or revolution.

Uruguay or Argentina,
Uruguay is a direct flop of Southern Calif. 30 deg. south of the equator and on the Atlantic. Similar weather and Eruopean history. Argentina used to be the best but expensive. I hear it is cheaper now. |
