Would you rather be a passenger in a Mustang driven by a stoner or a 997 driven by...
a drunk?
and why? |

Neither. Now a coke-head in a Lamborghini Gallardo? I'd rather see that..... reflexes are faster.

I'm pretty sure I would be driving the 997. There is no way I'd be riding along.
Designated driver perks. |

C. None of the above and frankly a rather goofy question.

I'd rather die in a Porsche. So the choice is obvious

It depends, which expresso machine is each of the cars. I think the edge may still go to the Mustang as there will be more room for the badger in the back seat.

![]() I choose for the Porsche, I'd rather die in one of those. Even after I was dead, I'd still not want to be seen in a Mustang... ![]()

The drunk will feel invincible and drive like an a$$ at 100mph.
The stone will be rolling about 25mph paranoid about everyone else hitting him. I'll take the stoner.

Hmmm, never really thought of this angle until seeing the pics of the hot blonde above ^^^?
I posted 'stoned' on the other thread, but fwiw if the driver was actually a hot blonde like diss, then I'd choose drunk; ha, ha. seriously tho, aint gonna happen; either way. so just in fun. "Hey you're passionate" "Well thank-you" "No, no! You're passionate!" "You're too kind, thanks" "No! You're passing it! The liquor store, you're passing it!" |

Neither. And while I am for LEGITIMATE medical marijuana, I am against legalizing this drug.
Why? -When I go to the shops and restaurants in downtown Fort Lauderdale, I am usually "panhandled" by the odd homeless person. Who are these people? Most have mental problems. That's the only explanation for someone who wants to live without a house or apartment. But many have substance abuse problems, and for 90% of them, from what I can see [smell~], alcohol is the problem. Anchorage, Alaska: diametrically opposite of my city in south Florida on the North American continent. Every year the State of Alaska distributes to its citizens a check that is the result of proceeds from oil and gas drilling. It used to be $1800 per year, but lately I think it has been around half that. Guess what you see in Anchorage in the days after those checks go out: Dozens and dozens of Yupic eskimo native americans laying in the gutter, drunk off their rear ends. Why? Genetically, these people have less resistance to alcohol than other people. You see, in any population, there are some people who, when they take a drink....have a hard time not taking 5 or 6 more. Some people just have a weakness for alcohol. And out of the population of the United States of America at 310 million...what percentage is that? What is the percentage of incapacitating alcoholism in the US? I have no idea, but it occurs to me that it is significant. Now: Lets Legalize Marijuana! -How many MORE people are going to be panhandling me? Q: Why are you and me wealthy? We own Porsches. In the global scheme of things folks...we are wealthy. Why? Because people like you and me WORK. We don't sit at home getting stoned, eating doritos and getting fat, we work our collective asses off. The more people in a particular society who contribute, who work, who eat, who BUY....that is the ENGINE that drives the AIRPLANE that is our society forward. Anything that puts people to work and/or makes them trade makes us all wealthier. Why did Nancy Reagan in the 1980's come out with her "Just Say No" campaign? Largely because of this! Republicans are totally FOR big business, and this was a good policy to advance for the significant other of the man who was utterly for big business. The long and short is that if we legalize drugs such as marijuana [I agree with LEGITIMATE medical marijuana], then we are basically walking down a VERY VERY slippery slope, and we will run into a situation where another percentage of society is incapacitated by their drug of choice. Our economy will suffer as a result. N! PS: Prohibition? We tried that, and it didn't work. It was decided that allowing ONE drug to the population probably produced a population that works best. We allow ONE drug- as long as you follow a few simple rules, you can have your fun legally. And we minimize the number of non-productive members of society. |
