It is but I can see the reason men fall into this behavior.

A lot of women use their attractiveness to men as an asset. That is they know their looks have "value". We (men) have always been duped by women.
How often have you seen a very good looking woman shacked up with a fairly ordinary looking man who has assets? To be fair this also goes the other way...
Women have always been empowered in this way.

Another point... "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"

Have you ever brushed off a woman who showed you she was romantically interested in you?
I have and the result is contempt often resulting in comments like... "He must be gay" or something similar.

So some ordinary looking blokes without the required assets resort to this behavior.
They are living in a fantasy world were they make their own reality.

It takes a lot to creep me out. That is without a doubt the creepiest thing I have ever seen.

Like Milt, i had the unexplained compulsion to poke around the train wreck, and came across the "Favorite Photos of You with your Doll(s)!" thread.

Ok, the few dudes who took photos of themselves with their dolls are bizarre, (except the one dude/doll combo dressed up for the Renn Faire, that is just hysterical) but the lady, with the little girl doll?

That is disturbing.

On edit, I am guessing Thom found the link on Reddit/Digg or something similar. Looks like it is going Viral, currently the forum has 1404 users online :: 40 registered, 0 hidden and 1364 guests

Seems to me that Futurama had at least one episode addressing this.

I could never have one of those. I'd always be wondering if she was faking it.

Still, must be cheaper than a wife or a shrink. Or a Porsche. I just don't see the appeal though.

OTOH, if I wasn't married, I'd probably move out to the garage and live with my cars while I rented the house. Still plays with cars, and all that.

Well, I'm pretty sure they won't drown if you hose 'em out. Probably a doll owner's idea of kinky.

I was curious to see what these folks looked like, but then again I don't know what most of us on here look like. Anyhow, I stumbled upon this thread in their version of OT: (yuk)

My wife was a little apprehensive when I first brought up the prospect of wanting a Realdoll and that was mainly because they are expensive.

Really? You wanted a silicone FWB, and her objection was cost?

It is strange, but at least it's harmless. No dolls were harmed there.

That is what you call getting some strange
