The big kid should have been given an award for restraint. The little kid should be out of school for a semester.
I said it in the other thread, that is the best thing I have ever seen on You-tube. The old white guy that whipped the black guy bully on the bus was pretty good. I still love the phrase "call the am-blance" from that video.

A ridiculously high percentage of street fights end up on the ground...the junior bully just learned a lesson about flying to close to the sun
![]() What I love about the video is the little punk was only brave because he had back-up (who comes in at the end of the video). Two kinds: the quick and the Pwn'd.

I had someone bullying me in Highschool. In a class full of people he says "Do you want to take this outside". He was tall and lanky, I'm med-height and Stocky. And I'm a lover, not a fighter! Anyway, we took it outside. He got one good nose shot in, before I wrestled him to the ground and beat his head against the concrete until he cried. I had instant respect from a ton of people. Don't start fights, but when in a fight, don't lose.
That big kid needs a medal for his restraint and his ending the situation. OTOH, that little kid is lucky he isn't hurt worse. That was a MASSIVE pickup and throwdown!

Totally agree and the big kid waited far longer than most would have done before teaching the kid a lesson. He should not have been suspended IMHO.

so my little Sister is rummaging in the kitchen drawer..
tears running down her face.. snatches something.. and off she goes... Mom & I look out the window & spot her on the sidewalk.. group of kids..one boy much taller then her is pushing her.. he then offered to make it 'fair'.. he gets on his knees... they are equal in height as this point.. fair fight .. ha it would seem so.. that is until Sis produces the meat tenderizer... like a Mongoose she went to town... thankfully this happened in Germany.. nobody got sued or suspended.. him.. quite a few sutures, concussion.. I was never bullied. I had guys mess with me a few times but I stood my ground and either they backed off or I wooped their ass. That's how I was raised. Doing that today gets you in trouble with the edu-commies. They say stoopid crap likc "use your words, not your fists". That works great until the other guy uses his fists. Freaking liberal fantasy world pussies. I don't like being a victim and I can guaranty you my kids don't either. They know not to pick on other kids, but also know that if someone picks on them they are asking for it and have it coming. And I don't give a damn what the edu-commies think. They're pretty much funtionally retarded AFAIC anyway. |

Here in Fl (and many other states) we have a "castle doctrine" law, where no one has the duty to retreat (even when not in your castle). However, had that fight taken place in one of our county schools both would have been suspended or expelled due to "zero tolerance" rules.

That video was great! I would take the big kid out for some ice cream and cake. The punk a$$ bully got slammed and showed his true colors.
Way to go kid! I have trained my kids to fight since they could walk. They do not start fights, but I guarantee they finish them. David

Likewise where I grew up in Texas. Zero tolerance/zero common sense rules started showing up in the early/mid 1990s from what I remember.

Too big to fail

Had something similar happen to me in 8th grade when I transferred from a school in the country to a Catholic school in the 'hood in Stockton. I was one of a handful of white kids, and I was the low man on the totem pole, despite being one of the bigger kids. One of the essay's named Jesse - he even had the black jacket with his name on the back in that gothic script which is impossible to read - who was the next one up the food chain, would harass me mercilessly. One day we were lining up to go back into the building, and he's giving me the "whass up holmes, wanna do this?" BS. I didn't say anything; I just grabbed him by the back of the head and slammed his face into the wall, three times, as hard as I could, then let him drop. His homeys wanted nothing with that madness, and left him laying there. I got dragged into the principal's office, he got taken to the doctor for a couple of stitches. The principal (a white, middle-aged Nun) asked me "Why did you put up with that for so long? Now get back to class and behave." She didn't even tell my parents, and Jesse and his homeys never so much as looked at me sideways again.

I grew up an Army brat so the rules were a little different. Under NO circumstance could you lay hands on anyone whose father outranked yours. Even if it was to defend yourself. "Just walk away" was the standing order. And I do mean ORDER. Imagine having to ask the other guys dads rank before deciding what to do. However if you happened to be stationed stateside and attended a public school under NO circumstance do you walk away from a fight. Get beat in a fight with a civilian and you may as well come home and tell dad you're turning gay.

Rika, I think I may have married your little sister, but it was a knife, not a meat tenderizer as I heard it.
did not see this reposted yet, if you look closely, it appears the little gaffer limped away with a broken leg. Video - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting

When I was in elementary and junior high school in TX, we still had corporal punishment and that tended to keep most kids in line. Bus drivers could report kids' behavior they saw outside the bus, once the kids got off. In NJ it was always demerits, detentions and suspensions. I suspect it's all zero tolerance now and you can just expect to get suspended for getting picked on and defending yourself. Just a fact of life.

The bully's leg hit the planter box causing him to limp. That had to hurt, but it should have been his head.

Love it.
First year of High School I had the kicker of the football team picking on me a lot. Kid just wouldn't leave me alone. No idea why either, since I was much larger. I am not one to start fights at school. We had after school study program for all the football guys. Bully sits right behind me and starts messing with me. Flicking me, light punches to the back, and just generally egging me on. Mind you the football coach was also watching this happen. Finally kid slaps me on the back of the head with an empty water bottle. I turned around, flipped the desk, and gave him a swift kick to the ribs. Kid didn't even have time to react. Coach held me after class and told me I would be running after practice, but that he wasn't mad at me at all. Whew.

I think a lot of bullies eventually out they can't turn their backs on those they pick on. I got picked on in JH cause they thought my last name made me Jewish,I'm not BTW. I figured if someone picked a fight with me, they started it and therefore I was free to respond with whatever was handy, chair, rock, whatever. I was told I was a dirty fighter. My response was don't pick a fight with me then.
