Servicing an account of mine yesterday. This real estate lady comes by to go to dinner with my clients in their vehicle and parks hers on the road with it's arse end protruding into the neighbor's driveway....she could have pulled up a few feet if she had any consideration.....:rolleyes:

I would have had some fun with that one. That happened to us at our group house in college. A few of lifted the back of the car out of our way and left it like that after we pulled out of the driveway. I don't know if anyone hit that car while its butt was in the middle of the road.

This thread alternates between amusing and pathetic. But this is way too far. While I despise stupid people that can't park, there's nothing that screams pussy like effing with another man's car. While I agree with this code, it's also a violation of it to drive or park in such a way as to make your car scream out that the driver is a d'bag. That behavior needs correcting.

Fair enough, but if you're a man you "correct" it with the driver. The passive aggressive pussy effs with the man's car then runs away.

At my old office the security guard would place a large sticker on the side window with a message that the owner is in violation of taking up more than one spot.

A photo of the car and plate would be emailed to all the tenants in the building.

After 3 warnings they are suspended from parking in the lot for a period of time.

far too lenient -- there needs to be a penalty right off the bat, not after 3 violations

my proposal

1st violation - public shaming - and not just via Email; I suggest spending the lunch hour in the stocks

2nd violation - fine them & public shaming repeat

3rd violation - burn their car

4th violation - drawn & quartered in the parking lot

This makes me flash back to childhood...I used to get so pissed and hurt that teachers would always tell parents of the kids that colored OUTSIDE the lines-'oh, you can tell they're so creative when they do that,' many a time I would blurt out, 'No he's not,, he's an idiot!!' -didn't make me too popular with the 'creative' kids...

When I am out in my old pickup, and I see people parked in multiple spaces, I will go out of my way to park right next to them so close to their door they (and me as well) have to use the passenger door.

I ALWAYS take the far spot and get as close to the curb as possible. Inevitably someone will still come park next to me.
