Sometime around 20 years ago I had Gary Linden make me a balsa 6’6” pintail. Its too small for me and I never intended to use it anyway. In the stringer it says “Gary Linden for Howard Silvers” and its signed in the wood by him too.

Having been a trader for 20 plus years I have taken it with me to 4 different Exchanges and had my photo shot holding it on the floor. NYSE AMEX PHLX and COMEX.

I’ll try and find those pics on my home puter. I of course still have the board hanging in my office.

At the beginning it reminded me of my paddleout at a Moorea bay all by myself - very clear water but also the unknown! :eek:

Despite being decidedly right handed, I seem to be goofy footed at all board sports. Snowboarding, long boarding, and surfing. The poor Photog that was in the water with us took a few runs to get used to which side he needed to be on as tweeze is regular, so hed have to swim side to side to catch us both. Was a fun time though and he got some great shots.

And richard, the concert was awesome, laying in the grass on our towels, chilling out. Great show at a great venue! So glad we made the trip, even if it was a short one!

Hawaii is getting ready for Hurricane Iselle. The last one to hit the island was Iniki in 1992. Forecast strength is a Cat 1. Hurricane Julio is following Iselle and looks like it will pass just to the North.
