Me surfing in San Diego a few years ago with an old surf buddy. I love this thread, so many fantastic pictures. I lived in San Clemente for 5 years and surfed Cotton's and Trestle's almost everyday. Dave |
Great pic, Dave! Stalling to set up the inside barrel!

Dave, if someone showed me that photo and said they took it of me I wouldn't doubt it for a second... that shot is a perfect match |

Yikes, top right of the pic is a guy on a standup paddleboard. Wooo, I'm a risk taker but I wouldn't go anywhere near that wave. |
Right there with you, Bill. These guys have steel ones!
Here's a beautiful photo....only a surfer knows the feeling...... https://scontent-mia.xx.fbcdn.net/hp...d6&oe=55E0EB27 |
This is our jetty. It's on the south side of Ponce DeLeon Inlet. The area to the right has a slight curve to the beach and this is typically where our best surf is when the tide and swell direction cooperates. North swell and high tide is usually ideal.
I live about a 15 minutes walk from here. This surf spot is simply called "The Inlet". https://scontent-mia.xx.fbcdn.net/hp...be&oe=55C6EAF9 |
