OK, I know most of you guys are really smart so we have to play by the rules here.

ONE THING!

And it can't be a non-tangible item.

90% of you have missed the boat on the original intent.

By those rules (excluding bullion) it would have to be wine. I have around $7K invested in around 200 bottles.

Not sure, but off the top of my head I would say my wife's Tiffanys necklace that I got her for our 10th anniversary. That set me back a bit.....

We own our house outright but that is a shared asset with the wife that I don't own but she is my most valuable asset.

Other than that, the one item or thing would have to be my 911. It is a nice toy that is worth what I paid for it 16 years ago.

My consciousness.

It is tangible and tractable in the way that I act, interact with people and my surroundings.

My professional licenses both in aviation and architecture, I suppose my degrees too, but definitely those licenses. If everything else I have evaporated tomorrow, those would still allow me to have fantastic earning potential and to do the things I love to do.

They're worth literally hundreds of thousands of dollars in both investment and returns (realized and potential).

One thing I outright own? That's hard to answer but for right now, I would say my snowboard. I would say my running shoes but I could technically run without shoes. My snowboard keeps me active (healthy), connects me with nature and calms my brain (peace), connects me with other people that make me laugh and happy (love), challenges me (makes me think), and makes me feel good when I get to teach somebody else or introduce somebody else to the sport (growth, paying it forward, purpose). If I owned a surfboard, it would be that. I think the ocean brings me even more peace and links me nature even more... Is that what your question meant? Please do answer, motion. Not to necessarily know how you wanted us to answer but to sincerely know what you would say...

Do tell. No need to go into detail about where you stashed the bodies.

Possessions and money have no real value.

The most valuable thing I own is my time. I can't make any more of it and I spend a little more every day.

I also have a mint condition carmel-colored cashmere overcoat that my Dad bought new in 1957. It's really warm. I'm sure that it was stupid expensive but they told him that it would last.

The only thing we have is now.

But.....Motion reminded us of the rules. Tangible. Okay...... my father's rosary. If the house were burning and I had to walk out of here with one thing, that is the thing.
