I've been riding exclusively that way since 1992! I prefer the solid feel of the hardboot connection, as opposed to the loosey-goosey feeling of soft boots.

And yes, I do trees and moguls with hard boots!

as you should!

i tried soft boots with the all-mountain board and just didn't like it. i'll use soft boots with the shorty board, K2 at about 150cm. other than that, i want the control with the long boards and at the speeds i ride.

I prefer two planks to one, but the weather just dropped 30 degrees and I've been thinking about Tahoe all day. I'm moving mid-season so no pass this year, which is probably a good thing since I seem to be able to guarantee a dry winter by buying one.
