No more SPEED Tv?
...I hope this isn't true!

Well, I guess I will be streaming more than ALMS now. I like watching the motorcycle racing on speed. I will have to find another place to watch that. F1 I already do without.

I'm only concerned about F1 coverage.

Probably save me a few bucks because I will bag the expensive package and go with basic.

Gee, I'll sure miss the pimp ride and amateur drag race shows. Oh, and Dumbest Stuff on Wheels. God forbid I never see that again.

^^^ totally correct Zeke! Speed has run off the rails with most of their programing for some time now. But they do have some coverage that I enjoy. But then again ESPN had a lock on the coverage of Cart in the early to mid 90s in its hey days and then that went another way.
So we may have to see where the great focus that Speed had originally surfaces again. I've been thinking that there needs to be good feedback to maintain good programing when it does show up. I'll be trying to be more communicative with any show or channel that starts to provide the programing that I want. Apparently the NASCAR, reality show folks, etc do something that encourages programmers to give them what they want. Clearly we of good taste have not, got to do something about that. Cheers Richard |

I think I could seriously get rid of my dish if this happens. I watch very little any more that isn't on speedtv. I'd be fine streaming programs on netflix or whatever.
This could save me about a grand a year.

I think I watched Speed once this whole year - Le Mans. Other than that, it could go away and I wouldn't miss it.
Speeedvision, on the other hand, was pretty good for for a while...

Hah! No Universal Sports with my signup level, nor do I get Velocity.
I'll take advantage of VeloCult's hospitality to watch the races. As far as F1 and motorcycle racing, who knows how I'm going to scratch that itch, but Nascar is nothing I have even the slightest interest in ... .... ...

The only reason I'm still getting Direct TV is F1.

VeloCult is on Comcast, Comcast dropped Universal, Universal doesn't allow subscription streaming direct from their site except to Dish or DirecTV subs. Hence no Vuelta a Espana at VC. If I were a sub I'd have subscribed to the Universal site for them. I'm thinking about changing from Comcast to Dish/DirecTV.

So Spped wants to show GAMES????
WTF. If it has a ball involved it is a game not a sport. Maybe Velocity will take over F1 coverage. We need another game channel like we need another shopping channel. Oh boy stick ball on Speed.
