This post is useless without pictures!
So it's not useless
![]() The room isn't finished, but we needed to move the furniture around so the rest can be done. Here how they turned out I went with Bostic MVP4 and Bostic Best adhesive. The floor guy said it was the best on the market. The MVP is the concrete sealant. It was thick, kind of like epoxy. It took 5-6 hours to "dry". It was still tacky even 24 hours later. Floor was glued down on Saturday. 2 days later, it feels really solid.

They glued it directly to the concrete? Is the floor a hard wood or a manufactured product?
I ask because it was my understanding that real wood floors require a sub-floor over concrete. That makes the whole thing about 1.5" deep. To do this, I would have to step up onto the wood from my adjacent tile and would throw off the step height out of my front room. Otherwise, I'd be all over a wood floor in my front room. Looks great, by the way.

the rug should be wide enough so when the chairs are pulled out to sit down, they are still on the rug. a tip from this old house, but that would cover most of the great wood floor, so maybe just remove the rug?

We had all the dining room chairs in the bedroom. We moved the dining room furniture back into the dining room and the rest into the office. The rocking chair was waiting to be moved into the office.
The Dining room, office, master suite and walk in closets were all carpet. The rest downstairs is all tile. Office with hardwood ![]() Closet before ![]() Bedroom with the vapor barrier on the floor, drying ![]() I'll post the bedroom and the closet photos with wood tomorrow evening.

The 3/8" matches well with the thickness of the tile.
