Use of English....

You can call me cranky in Canada if you like but I am wondering if the improper use of English in this forum bothers you? The one example that bothers me most is "learn me about...."

Does this grate on you as well or is this just me? Is this misuse of English acceptable or not?

I see two commas and a period that you missed.

I can't stand the interjection of the word Aye,, into a sentence while the person speaking let's his brain thaw and thinks of the next thing he wants to say
You know what I mean ? Aye...

Well we are having fun with this topic. Actually the correct spelling is "eh" here. However you did get your point across. I think that with the eh/aye use it does get the other person involved in the conversation so as to avoid egocentric behavior eh?

The literacy level on this forum is not the best. If I had a buck for every time someone typed "breaks" or "bumber..."
