Right now there is just a dusting on the ground, so I am just heading out in a few minutes and going coyote and fox hunting, before the heavy snows come tomorrow. Which should drop about 12" by Sat. morning. Have the beer in the in frig. and diesel in the Kubota, so I'm ready for what ever falls.

Right now just a dusting as well. All the news stations said the brunt of the storm will hit overnight.
We'll see if they're right this time.

Looks like I'm stuck in Florida for the weekend. My flight tomorrow to buffalo has already been cancelled. Oh well...

I never worry about a family with a unimog. I imagine you have a contingency plan.

Snowing about an inch and hour right now. Temp is about 33º so it is a heavy, wet snow. Only about 3" on the ground now, so we might get the 12" they are predicting. Just took this photo out the back door of our ice rink.

Damn I'm jealous. Not only do we need the moisture, but we haven't had more than 3" for several years now. I really enjoy snow.

Darn. It hasn't quite reached 70F yet. I guess I'll have to keep my sweater on...

Geez I feel for you guys on the eastern part of the continent. We here on the wet-coast (north of the 49th) are b1tschin that it is 8 C. (48 F.) rain & cloudy. Makes for damp & dreary days but we're lucky we don't have to shovel it. Good luck.

Cheers
JB

Three inches? A little Viagra will take care of that.
More seriously, we need the moisture here too. The forecasts have been pretty pessimistic in that regard, not wanting to get our hopes up I guess. I wasn't disappointed to be shoveling a couple inches of partly cloudy off the driveway Monday.

Beautiful pic. I, unlike most, enjoy snow.
