I would install automated security. Your camera installations are great for reviewing after the fact but if this escalates you may benefit from Brinks/ADT sending the law out without requiring your call. A panic button is very useful.

Fencing the yard would be my second step including thick hedges.

Thirdly, I would recommend one keep a firearm in the house for a worst case scenario, self-defense. A pump action pistol grip where you can access quickly. I wouldn't advertise ownership as the grass killer does.

You seem to have a level head on your shoulders so I assume it goes without saying to continue with non-aggressive defensive measures to protect the safety of you and your family. Put my vote in for the document document document and report report report. He'll either correct, vacation in the clinker with bubba and/or cross the wrong person.

You did exactly the right thing. He would have escalated on you no matter what so it is important that you did what you can to protect yourself now. When I was a prosecutor I gave many people the advice to do exactly what you did and the only people who regretted it were the ones who did not follow my advice.

Now here is the absolutely most important thing you can do now. You must keep the trespass papers and a cell phone with you at all times and if you so much as see this guy, you MUST call 911 immediately. When the cops come you show then the trespass order.

You cannot in any way shape or form tolerate him pushing the boundaries of the trespass order. You must enforce it aggressively to the letter or he will continue to escalate and the cops will not back you up when you need them. They will not criticize you for aggressively enforcing the order. Arresting people for violating a no trespass/no contact order is one of the easiest and most satisfying things cops do. The charges always stick because the proof is in the arrest - a copy of the order is on file with the court so they don't need you as a cooperating witness to prove it at trial, and proof of the violation comes from him being arrested where you said he was. Every order for protection violation charge I prosecuted plead guilty. They all huffed and puffed and threatened trial and in the end when I asked them how they thought they could beat the charge they all plead guilty. And if he repeats, he will go to jail. He'll get some chances but eventually he will go away for a very long time.

I'd walk the dog on a leash for a while. If this nutjob tosses a piece of poisoned meat in your yard, your dog will find it and eat it before you know what's happening, if the dog has the freedom to roam.

Should something happen to the dog, I doubt Cash would be the one the neighbor has to worry about.

Rick knows my wife. If anything happens to the doggie, somehow that woman will find a way to build a nuclear weapon and turn this neighborhood to glass.

That's the neighbor?

He is missing an opportunity to portray a psycho in Hollywood...seriously.

He looks like zippy the pin head.

Sorry for your troubles, the fact this guy is operating aircraft is very disturbing.

All this time I was picturing some grizzled old git with a crazy eye. Not some pencil-necked geek who shaves his head to hide his premature baldness.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with that! As soon as I started going thin, I shaved it all off. Would much rather have a chrome dome than a hideous combover.

Makes for cheap haircuts too. 5 minutes weekly with a Wahl electric razor buzz and I'm good as new.

Nah. What hair I do have is still quite thick and grows fast as hell. I shave daily. And blades are expensive these days!

I go buzzed because I'm lazy. Plus I'm not sure if shiny becomes me.

Thank god I still have a full head of hair, because when I had my head shaved many years ago for the military, my dome looked like the Sea of Tranquility with moles.

I was second in the "Ugliest Dome" voting. The guy who won looked like a patch of driving range turf after I practiced hitting ballls with a wedge.

My only option would be the Trump 360 comb over.

BTW, the pic of your neighbor has a very odd feel.

LOL, nice description! I was lucky enough to be "blessed" with a good head for shaving. But damn, I miss my beautiful, dark red (almost brown) locks! I look at my son, and he has the same hairline as I do (unfortunately). He likes to keep his head buzzed, I assume to look like dad, but part of me wants to tell him to enjoy having hair while he still can!

I shave my head about every two weeks (periodically leave in a nice Mohawk), but only because my hairline appears to be growing downwards towards my eyebrows. And I seem to have been "blessed" with Brillo instead of hair.
