For decades, Disney took the glass animation cells for making all their classic animated movies and cartoons and would put them in dip (remember the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit?), and reuse the glass.

I heard stories of employees 'surfing' on mylar or acetate cell's dumped by the hundreds in hallways. Nowadays, those (individually hand painted) cells from classic cartoons get huge buck$ from collectors.

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that we move on from our past like this. Too easy to become a hoarder, but shameful that we can no longer duplicate a moon launch that took place 40 years ago...

We could go back to the moon, but what for? We're the only people to go there, so we own it. And it's useless.

Dude, it ain't the moon we went for. We learned a lot about the moon, but we had to invent a lot of technology to do it. We employed the top engineers and scientists to just dream up new things. Things you and I and everyone else use every day.

Look at any critical care hospital unit. The remote monitoring of a human has never been better. They learned how from NASA.

Not one penny was spent on the moon or in space. It stayed right here on the ground and provided a lot of great jobs to great people learning and inventing here for all of us.

The original tapes in Houston were actually video taken of a video screen in Mission Control. They found the original tapes in Australia.

We did go there. No reasonable, rational person doubts that.

But hte reason we went there was a total scam and was only a smoke screen to develop ICBMs to shoot at the soviets.
A sneaky way to get congress to approve more money for missile development they otherwise wouldn't have.

Doing it again would be even more ridiculous.
