WTF - did I miss a memo or something?

This Infiniti was following me fairly closely one the way into work today.

The car passed me, and there was a lone MALE in the car. That thing on the front of the car is a giant hot pink furry "moustache".

WTF? Seriously?

This definitely trumps anything in the "Gheyest. Thing. Ever." category.

His kids prolly played a prank...did something similar to a friend when he took a trip up to Boston, put a sign on the back bumper say'n 'Sox Suck!' - didn't help that he had NY tags. To this day he still thinks folks from Boston are the meanest people in the world...

Years ago some co-workers put a "Honk if you are gay" bumper sticker on the back of a guy's car. He even mentioned several people honked at him recently. Everyone broke down laughing and he was pissed when he found that sign.

If that's the current definition of "cool", I'll gladly remain a stodgy old fart, thank you very much.

Ridesharing is very cool. Although I wouldn't ride in a lyft car because the ones I see around here are pretty sketchy. But I use Uber all the time and I love it. In fact I don't know a single person that has used it that hasn't been blown away by the value. Taxi companies rested on their licenses and did nothing to improve service inspite of huge advances in technology. Evolve or die. Bye bye taxi.

Hmm... sounds like I need to sign up for Lyft.

Years ago we had a guy in our office that bought a brand new CJ5 Jeep. Every afteroon he would put the top down and be a complete poser with the sunglasses and the hair blowing in the wind driving home. One Friday one of us (wasn't me) put a sign on the spare tire that said "I'm GAY and PROUD". He said it wasn't until Sunday that he found it.

Well, I've heard of giving a chick a mustache ride, but I didn't know it was supposed to be pink.

Please add me to that "not cool" list.

I remember back when it was still called hitchhiking.

Lyft has been running ads in Facebook and Craigslist in Phoenix. I think the idea is that you're supposed to "tip" the person for their troubles.
