My New / Used Scissor lift.
<insert happy happy dance here> $500 SCORE.
Pneumatic Scissor lift rated at 6000 pounds. 24" lift. I loaded my ATV in the truck bed backwards and used the winch to skid the heavy as heck 1000+ pound lift onto my trailer..............as I said, only $500. Will work SWEET on my SxS and low rider Porsches. Got it home and my Mid Size Kubota tractor could barely lift it off.....heavy heavy. Thanks for your assistance Mr Higgins YES! :D YES! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1709226731.jpg |
Found a nearly new snowboard in the dumpster at my brothers work. and a pair of m/t valve covers in my neighbors abandoned garage that is just a foundation full of debris and trash in the middle of an overgrown field full of sticker bushes. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1709255458.JPG

I'm quite pleased. I've got into the habit of going to the dump shop (recycler at the tip) to look at Amy who worked there. Sadly she has moved on. Something to do with setting up cash rewards for returning bottles... But I still go there anyway.
Last week I got a nice pair of Mission speakers for about US$20. Today I got a NAD amp to go with the speakers. A bit extravagant I know but I paid us$15 for it. Wow, they go together well. They are for the mancave and I plug my phone into it and play music youtubes. I also got a bag of about 30 tennis balls for $3 for my new tennis hobby. And something else that I can't remember. Oh, yes, good quality speaker cables for two dollars. And a 6'6 surfboard for ten bucks to use as fence art for my beach theme front fence. |
Got this for $1000 off new. Used less than 100 hours.
175 psi and 18 cfm. Tractor Pallet Skid Forks are sooooo damnnn handy. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1711982809.jpg |
Scored this virtually unused original Kreg Pocket Hole Jig on FB Marketplace The original model was made out of aluminum and was sold from inception in 1990 until 2000 when they introduced their plastic models. I've been using a Makita Biscuit Joiner for 25+ years. This is my first foray into Pocket Hole-ery.

^^^I like that model. You will get a a lot of satisfaction out of that. It may or may not have the adjustments for different thicknesses. You'll probably have to experiment on scraps before assembling a project. I don't use mine much because I repair mostly, but it can be handy for that too if the item can have modern screws. Unfortunately I'm called upon to use old stock slotted screws on most that comes in.
You can buy different length screws for pockets. |
Have the plastic version and made some neat stuff with it. Very handy tool.
