C Meisel Violin i found in a neighbors garbage can on my bike ride. I had found a nice bass amp in his can a few years ago I sold for a couple hundred. I had the volvo high milege club badges a while from my neighbors estate. Turns out they are worth a good chunk of change. Snow blower at the curb the other day. Cleaned the carb and it works good starts first pull. Same with the echo trimmer .

Delonghi TrueBrew coffe machine for $40. They are $600 new, it was only used for three months.

It needed a new thermal fuse on the drive motor. $3.99 fix.

Flea market today picked up a die-cast Duramax 3500 pickup for $10. We were leaving and the asking price was $25. Seller said $10 it’s yours
Campbell soup truck was $25, still in original packaging

Picked up some aluminum trailer wheels and spare for $80
I keep a couple of my 24-foot enclosed trailers at the Moose lodge I'm a l8fe member of, and since I use them for storage, and don't take them anywhere, I didn't see a reason to put new tires on every few years (both had new tires when I parked there) but I keep the bags current and have new tires at the house, in case I need to move them. Well, the "hall monitor" who overseas the area, told me that they had to be road worthy at anytime, and i informed him that I'm a Life member, my tags are current and since I didn't plan on moving them anytime soon, and my storage is paid the beginning of each month, sometimes I pay 6 months in advance, if I'm going to be traveling, but he still being a dick, so I grabbed these, since they hold air.

Byron, when you store them do you take the load off them by jacking the trailer up and putting it on jack stands?

I was just noticing that the Campbell's truck has a trailer hitch and was wondering what I would hook up to it. Lol. Cool trucks.

Pretty pleased with this score, not that I needed another bicycle. But a Rans for $100, in nice condition, wow.

And I wanted to at least check it out. I was relieved when I found out the location wasn't in a sketchy area, an older gentleman, who was selling it for a friend who moved north, and had no luck at $500, so he figured that for $100, it would go fast, and it would have, had he posted more than one picture and a description. When I zoomed in on the picture and saw what it was, I immediately asked if I could take a look and was very pleasantly surprised, plus came from the old bike shop i use to work at.
The next score, something that I was looking for for a while, and the few times they showed up locally, they get snatched up.
12'6" telescopic ladder, for $80 , now I did have to drive to St Augustine , met the gentleman at Pelican Pub,

Normally I would have met up with Hugh, but with my Mother having fractured ribs, I wanted to at least get back in my area, as well as grab her dinner from

Since I have bikes in the rafters in my shop, this will make it much easier to get to stuff, plus, it will be much easier to get to the loft at a friend's place, where his garage is wall to wall, front to back, motorcycles, and the 14x15 Fuchs that Peter Gregg had made from a set of 11x15 Fuchs for his RSR, are up there.

On Let-Go yesterday, Justin, my lead engine builder, bought a Porsche 67"S" long block for $1,800. A rare find for a great price.

While not Craigslist or Facebook market place, a closeout at Lowes

Of course, it is only a good deal if you have a battery, and this uses the same battery as the chainsaw I bought after Helene.
And it's very bright.

Nice score, Brian!

Grabbed these today out by a curb - perfect timing as the shelf in my motorcycle service bay went south during Milton.

We took the week off and went on a road trip to Madison, Indiana. Stopped at a couple of places. I'm not a shopper, but Vicki likes to look at the clothes. She got this pantsuit thing for $8. $8 well spent in my opinion.

Found this black lace dress for $12. She took a ripper to it as soon as she got home and took the lining out, so now it's just lace. She can't wear it out, but I LOVE to see it in her around the house.

Does the local goodwill store count?? Lots of funny looks, but who can blame them.

A trunk load of broken non-op Nerf guns. What is the plan you ask……

Simple, to turn them into something that resembles these…….

Will slowly work on them as time permits.

Scored these at a local estate sale

Mrs Bugs scored four large n heavy tubs of old books for $20.00. Still going through them to see what she scored. Many, many old books and even a thick leather bound bible dating back to 1839.

Even scored some vintage Mad Magazines, 1960 and on.

Nice Im always on the lookout for micro machines they are quite elusive these days. This week I did the biggest cleanout iv ever done. My garages are all full. Already took 3500lbs of scrap in and had a big free sale of about 1/3 of it. Everything I got was free. All leftovers of many people picking the stuff already. The guy bought the estate with all the guys leftover junk in it. The best thing I found sofar is this Griswold waffle iron. It was at the bottom of a mouse infested box full of dishes and cheap oil lamps. Theres alot of nickel and dime ebay stuff to sell and a ton of tool stuff I have to sort so thats always fun.

Love the vintage waffle iron! And Bugs...you're killing it with the aircraft and steam punk weapon restomods!

I haven't been doing as much as I normally do, due to time constraints and also just not having the room. But today while on my way to one of my accounts I grabbed these....a pool ladder in almost perfect condition, two perfect condition 2 gal. Lowes buckets, and an oscillating fan that works perfectly!

Bought a 30s vintage Russian helmet off Craigslist. Got this thrown in. Was told it’s Japanese. But doubt it. Any ideas?
