Beats me. I’m not in the market for a dash mounted record player. Know you had to have stupid money back in the day to buy one of these.

I'm sure someone will be interested in it. Would be super-cool to be able to pop a 45 rpm record into your cars high fidelity system. And to think that cassettes and 8 tracks are old.. That thing may be worth a lot....if it works.

All my car and truck music is in MP3 form from flash drives. Only radio I listen to is talk radio. Or I play my DVD with a surfing DVD. ====== Back in the day I started with 8 track stereos....even went to a quad at one point! Then to cassette...cassette/CD....then cassette/CD w/remote disc player under the seat....then one in the trunk.....

It was quite a hunt. Honda's get snapped up and sold out from under you pretty fast. This one was the opposite. A practically brand new HS724 at a great price where the seller kept it for me until I could pick it up. He was annoyed with all the lowballers (it was already $500 below market) as well as those who said they would pay more for it. Really nice couple, there are good people in the world it turns out.

A mirror someone was throwing away. Just driving by on my way home from one of my accounts and there it was. Nice interesting wooden frame and even has a nice hanger wire on back! I'll probably dress it up with some shells and nautical stuff.......

The port -o- band has been on my wish list for a long time and my brother has wanted a brake lathe since high school! He has access to one at work but its never convenient. Im hoping he can get the plasma cutter working too. I dont really cut thick stuff as much as i used to but im sure it would make life easier.

When I hang pictures, and especially when I hang heavy stuff like big mirrors. there are two hooks on the wall and the braided wire is strung in a sort of figure-8 pattern. The hooks do not need to be level. With this method, there is a redundant system. Also, once the mirror is adjusted level, it will no longer move and get out of adjustment. The wire goes from one hook on the mirror to the nearby hook on the wall, then to the hook on the other side of the mirror, then up to the other hook on the wall, then back to the original hook on the mirror. Figure 8.

Anyone need an organ? This house under construction is on the route I take here on the island so I always make a point to glance over and see if there's anything of value in their trash pile. I did get some nice large pieces of insulation board, posted upstream here. But yesterday took the cake! No, I did not bring it home! Hopefully someone else did. Strange that it ended up on this pile. Wonder what the story is there.....

Most organs are of no value unless you play and if you play you probably already have one. Certain Hammonds have been famously used by scores of rock bands, especially in the studio. That one looks (looks) like a nice one. And weighs close to 400 lbs. | ||
