You guys / gals are are knee jerkin here.
For one I did not contempt science.
Next i said show me. (is that not science? )
And lastly, if you believe in, math , probabilities..history, there is something worse coming then the Spanish influenza .
Most of the people are lulled to sleep by the status quo B.S. ( flu shot LOL )
W.H.O , Atalnta DCC, and what all is geared to shoot jet liners out of the sky to stop the big stuff as far as quarantine !.
Remember Bola bola?
You guys run around with your flu vac needle...its like using it to as spear to stop a freight Train.......some one told you it would, and you bought into it.!
Good for you......you have shield in hand where a bunker would not even help you.
As far as VOO DOO. - Science knows virus(s) exist. But as of right now have NO means to combat them
Science knows Aids exist.......what have they done about it in the last 15 years?
it has now mutated into several layers stronger then the last........
Maybe thats voo doo for ya?
Worried and upset? Damed right I am
look what they do to fertilizer for the hart land, they put HVY metals in it , why? Explain that one!
In the end you are allowed and in some cases MANDATED to have the flue shot.
Will it help you?
Will it hurt you?
Is there a ulterior motive?........Do what you gots to do....
If all was so EZ
Why cant they cure the so called common cold ??....So to me, a Flu Shot is a shot in the dark.
A feel good deal brought to you by your goberment cause they care....LOL

I have never gotten the flu shot, I don't believe in any big conspiracy or even dispute its efficiency. I don't know....maybe its the feeling that old people get the flu shot, and I'm not willing to admit I'm old yet!!!

Funny.....this is the exact opposite recommendation of my doctors during and after chemo. Actually told me to wait two years min before getting a flu shot.......... Maybe the difference lies in the type of chemo or what they are trying to kill within you with the chemo? Hope so, otherwise one of us is being lied to.

I get a flu shot every year, for many years now.
It seems to help.

Actually, afterburner unwittingly demonstrates what is so great about this country. We are free to get a flu shot or not, free to believe in science or not, free to be a complete nutter and express any nutter views on the internet, etc...

God Bless America.

No. I have worked in an environment that encouraged employees to be vaccinated (for free), and have done a small sample of those who had and had not been vaccinated, then compared the numbers, and it yielded no reason for me to ever get one. It was a simple q and a, then not see them for 3 days.

I did get the flu in early 2011, it sucked, but only for 2 days. It must have been a pretty bad strain, several fell ill and one guy died following the business conference.

Mothers are wonderful, but I wish mine would get off my ass about getting a flu shot every year.

Its not surprising though....

And I thought ODDJOB Unos rants were out there..... some of the last rants on this thread still have me trying to decipher...They are just out there...

Of course that is because I don't "get " it.... And I don't "know" ...

Funny schies and a bit disturbing...

It not like MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) VIRUSES have been controlled...

Quote:
Before the widespread use of a vaccine against measles, its incidence was so high that infection with measles was felt to be "as inevitable as death and taxes
Yeap nothing can be done against a virus...

Flu is a moving target...its been controlled well lately

Also think Typhoid Mary.....if the virus is controlled in you.... you may not pass it to someone else..
