This movie does look good. Ben Foster is an excellent actor also. Chris and Ben were great together in Hell or High Water.

^ Agree. And Kiefer's in there, too.

The Courier. On prime is a good one

7500 on Prime. A very realistic hijacking movie. I liked it.

Life as a House (2001). Kevin Kline, Kristin Scott Thomas, Hayden Christensen, Mary Steenburgen, Jena Malone. Haven't seen it for a long time- forgot how good it was. Dive in- no trailer. Bring Kleenex. It's on Apple TV, Amazon, and elsewhere for $2.99.

Kimi on HBO Max. A thriller based on an Alexa type of device. Best movie I've seen in a while. Skip the trailer- be surprised. Zoë Kravitz is fantastic!

I watched the first half of LOA last night before falling asleep. It's just such a fantastic movie. Probably my favourite of all time. The scenes with Sharif and O'Toole are incredible. Then how about Anthony Quinn's performance? And Claude Rains? There'll never be one as good as that one. Lots of wonderful extra footage in this 'director's cut'.

Tonight on TCM at 8pm - the best basketball movie of all time.....

Heard today that the movie " Killers Of The Flower Moon " will be released in November. I read the book a couple years ago. Unbelievable what happened to the Osage Indians. They had been relocated to land that was deemed worthless, non agriculture land, rocky, hilly. Low and behold, they were sitting on oil. They became some of the richest people in the country, world. What happened is not imaginable.
Living in Tulsa, nearby where this happened, never read a word about it, nothing in history class. I have been through Fairfax, Hominy, etc... Beautiful Country. Been to Woolaroc, Frank Phillips (phillips 66) place a little north of there. What a great museum. A lot of history here, but has been silent about the crimes and murders that occurred. Was the founding of the FBI as well. Hope it realistically portrays what happened.

Actually, he wasn't. If you haven't seen 2010: The year We Make Contact, I highly recommend it. One of the best sequels ever, with a great cast headed by Roy Scheider.

'Against the Ice' on Netflix.
My favorite type of movie...a true story.
A very good watch.

Last night on Netflix "The Frozen Ground" --- about a serial killer and the detective pursuing the case. Based on a true story.

It was OK. Nick Cage makes just about any movie worth watching.....

If you can watch that movie and not end up with a major crush on 1960 Shirley MacLaine, turn in your Man Card

Baz 03-03-2022 06:11 PM

Next up...."The Graduate" --- and after that "Bullitt"!

Absolutely - she was so beautiful. Great body too. And I've always been a big Jack Lemmon fan. It's quite a movie. Love the "Mensch" lesson.....something we can all learn from....
