Saw Frankenstein in 3D in 1975. Pretty intense movie, especially when dosed up on some questionable pharmaceuticals.

A caper movie with a difference. It was OK, not great but good and it has a stellar cast.
(It's not something you would watch with your significant other)

Thanks Baz. Loved that movie. When 48 hours was released it was ground breaking. Another 48 hours was even better. Nothing like it had been done before...

Don't even bother with "Sputnik" unless 2 hrs of your time is a tax deduction. It's none of the above.

"T-34" was also mind numbing in plot/acting, but had a few glossy cgi visuals.

Red Notice. This was OK. I expected a little better though from the cast.

I watched 2 good movies on TCM yesterday
The Lineup, cops and robbers set in san Fran.
The Young Philadelphians, Paul Newman plays a young lawyer. Robert Vaughan was in it as well, he was nominated for an academy award for his role in the film

"The Devils' Brigade" - on cable - one of the greatest movies ever. The fight scene at the bar with the lumberjacks is epic!

Just watched Double Walker. A girl dies and her ghost comes back to change the events of the day she died. No name actors and a different kind of story. Only 71 minutes. I liked it.

I caught an interesting double feature on TCM in the wee hours Saturday morning.

This one had long segments that were pretty much a slow burn, but they were well done slow burn and kept me interested. The stakes were raised in the last third and it finished well. 8/10 for me.

I had never seen this one by David Lynch. Very much "out there" in some ways, but in typical Lynch style, he somehow pulls it off with his trademark weirdness, quirkiness, and atmospheric mood. Very Fellini-like, too. Another 8/10
