^^^ I was most of the way through the movie before I realized which part Simon Pegg was playing. I've never seen him play a part like that....he nailed it.
My favorite Netflix movie of all is this one....hilarious! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lXrnUzP5Su0" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

That is also a great movie. Saw it when it first came out. |
May have been posted earlier because it's the second time I've watched it.
On Prime...The Vanishing starring Gerard Butler. A good movie with excellent acting....well worth watching. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/RyFlfN4dD14?start=10" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

I've become a pretty big Gerard Butler fan, but he's an acquired taste, that's for sure. Did you ever see this one? It's very good! <iframe width="853" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mnP_z3qXDCQ" title="Hunter Killer (2018 Movie) Official Trailer – Gerard Butler, Gary Oldman, Common" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

From 1958 and directed by William Wyler. "The Big Country".
Big cast! I've seen a few times and it's so good I don't mind seeing it again tonight. This is the scene that just aired by Burl Ives, who enters at about the 1 minute mark, and won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar, for his work in this classic. Throughout the whole movie the reoccurring theme is how Gregory Peck's character see things through that of an outsider coming into an existing feud between two large property owners. The director makes sure the viewer sees this by the lingering shots of Peck at crucial moments throughout the movie. Also starring the beautiful Jean Simmons, which alone makes this a movie worth a look! <iframe width="853" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hW2JONQ2k3c" title="The Big Country - Rufus Crashes the Party" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> The movie also features a Saul Bass created opening title sequence and fantastic soundtrack... |
Just watched Emily the Criminal with Aubrey Plaza. Never heard it, sort of found it by accident. I liked it but it may not be for everybody. Sort of offbeat kind of movie on Netflix.
Also saw the Glass Onion, a knives out movie. Not as good as the original knives out but not bad. |
Coming up at 10:15 pm on TCM....from 1942..."Casablanca".
