This is supposed to be really good. I only remember David Dastmalchian as Coco from Blade Runner 2049, but he seems like a good creepy character actor. Theater release March 22nd.

Today watched Moonfall. Incredibly lazy writing, moderately entertaining. Fine for something to take my mind off work but will never watch it again.

Also had the second Sicario movie on while working tonight. So good.

stevej37 03-14-2024 05:29 AM

'Jungle' on Prime.
Daniel Radcliffe and 3 buddies take a trek into the jungle....good movie.

'The Mission' on YouTube tv.
Without a subscription, the commercials are ridiculous....If you have Hulu, no commercials.

A true story about the last remaining colony of unreached people on an island near India, and a young guy that wants to bring religion to them. Well worth watching.

Well,
I finally got around to watching "Leave the World Behind" Only because it wouldn't stop showing up in my feed. I gave it 1 1/2 stars out of 5.

I'm sure it was discussed here already. But, some good some bad. Unsatisfying ending. Stupid obsession with friends. Julia Robert's hysterics were too much. And what was the point of showing the son whacking off in bed? Further, what was the point of that other daughter asking "Did you ever F*** one of your students? Typical Hollywood I guess...

Best part was the nuke going off in the end...

I liked the ending of "Don't Look Up" better. It had a finality to it.

I see. We are in agreement! It was a waste. A $120,000,000 budget.

I forgot about the deer. I get those in my back yard, sometimes they want to come in my back door.
So it meant nothing. Have those people never seen deer before? And why would the deer care if we were attacked?

Looking forward to the new Road House. At least my expectations are set for what it will be.

^ It might come out tomorrow night on Amazon. Otherwise, Wednesday for sure. I think it'll be fun.
