loved Paul, thought it was hilarious.

Most flicks with those two are worth a watch.

From 1963. "Spencer's Mountain" on cable right now. Good part coming up when Henry Fonda goes to see the college president about Clayboy being turned down for admission.

The local theatre reopened. They’re showing things like Indiana Jones, the goonies, jaws, back to the future, shrek.

We’ve gone a couple time now.

Check out what’s playing near you. Great to see these on the big screen again.

He opens his door and gets out behind me at the stop light. He's ready to rumble. I have a suit on which has shoulder pads and one of those heavy full length wool business coats.

I exit the micro car after an 11 hour day and stare at him. That kind of look. Like really?

Similar to the second guy that wanted to square off with Matt Dillon, he just folded and got back in his car.

I got a D in driving skill but felt like Batman.

Great story, Bob.

I would have loved to see that! :D

The Wraith - 1986

Charlie Sheen, Ron Howard's brother, Randy Quaid, a hot babe with a touch of noteworthy skin and a cool concept car. Some pretty good supporting actors as well.

Dated and a bit corny but I made it through.

Watch for free on YouTube.

Nick Cassavetes was the lead bad guy. I thought he was one of the weaker actors. However, he went on to direct some pretty successful movies, Including The Notebook.

"Lawrence of Arabia" - on TCM - just now starting.

Commercial free.

And there will be an Intermission!

Not sure Anthony Quinn gets enough recognition for his outstanding performance in this epic film.

He was amazing as Auda Abu-Tayeh, the leader of the Howeitat.

Just finished Green Book on Showtime.

Very enjoyable (and somewhat timely) movie.

I thought this was very good. Some wooden dialog, but some bad ass machine guns on the river boats...

Beyond the Law

Another Charlie Sheen one from the ‘90’s. A bit corny nut based on a true story.

OK here goes... The King (2019 on Netflix).

"The King is a 2019 historical drama film based on several plays from William Shakespeare's "Henriad"

One word brilliant! The armoured battle scene near the end alone makes it worth watching. Imagine a massive Rugby scrum with men in full armour and lots of mud.

Timothée Chalamet who portrays King Henry V looks like a 20 something Millennial and it works. You don't see much of her but Johnny Depp's daughter Lily-Rose is also in the movie. I can't say enough good things about it and IMO this is one of the best ever period movies made.

"Witness" comes on tonight at 10pm ET on cable INSP.

Kind of unusual category for this channel but a nice change up.

One of the two Kelly McGillis movies where she looked hawt!

Forgot what a beautiful soundtrack it has - and also directed by the great Australian film director, Peter Weir.

8 Academy Award nominations....winning 2.
