If only this were a real thing...

'Unfrosted' on Netflix.
Funny, as expected. Touches on a lot of 60's news and happenings. Amy Schumer is great.

Too Kewl: Jerry Seinfeld on the big screen
Good: Bill Burr = brilliant as JFK
Better: John Hamm & John Slattery return as 'Mad Men'
Crappy: Trying to make fun of the Apollo 1 disaster

Easy-going fun, but I'd feel violated to pay more than a buck or two to see it.

Watched Unfrosted last night. I thought it was good and very funny. A lot of '60's pop cultures references. They come at you fast. And of course he added some great cars in back ground.

Seinfeld on the Rich Eisen show. Puts Rich in his place and goes on to say that they had none of the cast signed until the last few days....then the dam broke. Funny.

100% spot on, lots of jokes you could miss if you weren’t paying attention. It was fun to watch after listening to spike’s podcast for years (he wrote it with Seinfeld).

Ok, you guys don't usually steer me wrong on shows and movies, so I'll give "Unfrosted" a go and added to the queue. Watched the trailer a week or so ago and wasn't impressed.

^^^ As Ury said above...."they come at you fast"
I'm watching it a second time soon....I know I missed a lot the first time.

Idris Elba was always my first choice, but it sure looks like it'll be Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

The Roast of Tom Brady on Netflix.
Haven't finished watching it all....too much for one sitting. Kevin Hart does a fine job...it's funny as hell.

pavulon 05-06-2024 06:42 PM

Another weird way to go on a fishing expedition for attention. He deserved every joke made at his expense but there was a lot of collateral damage.

Julian Edelman seems to be a true comedian. He killed it.

This comes out 6/28. I enjoyed the first two.

Film Noir of the week. Made in 1950. Funny how there are parallels with today. The power of slanted news, mob violence, and more..
