Okay, I'm not a hard-core horror fan, but enjoy a good one now and then. Abigail, however, has got to be the most over-the-top one I've seen in decades. Simple story, and Acts I and II are a slow burn. Act III gets things in gear and never seems to slow down. As the film runs a bit long, you're not aware there is a LOT more left, and just when you think it is going to run down, it just keeps going. What a hoot! It's a boatload of fun and thrills, with a great cast and pacing. Recommended, even if you are not a horror fan.

film noir

Watched last night. Can a murder/crime flick also be a comedy? Sure can. I watched it last night. Free on youtube. A hair over an hour...

Similarities between "The Martian" and "Castaway" - similar plot - both very profound yet entertaining.

And will always be two of my favs........

I went to IMDB to see the reviews, and boy howdy a lot of "men" are big mad about a woman-led action flick. I guess they were "triggered."

I don't have Netflix at the moment, but I'll probably do a one-month renewal and watch everything worh watching.

A similar sounding movie I liked is Ava...

Watch Poor Things yesterday. Odd, odd movie. Definitely entertaining, I did like most parts and the storyline. I can see why Hollywierd went gaga over it.

I'm hoping this is a big success. He spent two years here working on it. A few of my friends are extras. Will see. Scenery will be good though.

Last night I watched, Argyle. I watched it because it had Sam Jackson and John Sena and I generally like the movies they do. The worst movie Jackson has ever been in. Possibly the worst movie I have ever watched to the end. A comedy. The supposed funny bits are drug out way too long. The chase scenes way too long. So bad I am not posting a preview.
