I watched this last night with my niece and nephew. (The things you do for kids )
Considering this is the 4th instalment I wasn't expecting much...

But wow, what a movie! Absolutely brilliant. Honestly, I couldn't fault it.
It takes you on a completely unexpected journey with a surprising outcome.

Five out of five stars from me and your wife/husband will love it as well.

Red 2 on TNT right now. Marvin (Malcovich) is hilarious!

El Camino. Netflix sequel movie to the Braking Bad series. Not bad. A lot of crazy stuff going on, as it was in the series.

EXPO, on Netflix.

Avoid at all costs. Worse than a high school film class movie.

I was bored so I watched this last night... One word review - Avoid.

Dreadful movie but it could have been so much better with some simple changes.
The story was compelling at first but soon turned ridiculous and the ending was just awful. :(

The action was good at times but it didn't last. I felt like I was watching a Mission Impossible movie at times
and not in a good way. So many plot holes... Were to begin?

As I said - Avoid. You're much better off watching Toy Story 4.

A couple heady documentaries on the progress of humankind and our limitations:

Something for the youth to consider:

Safe House. Denzel and Ryan Reynolds CIA agents. Saw it about 10 years ago and it was worth watching again.

The assault on the Safe House in the beginning was brilliant!

IMO one of the best scenes of its type ever.

For sure. One minute bouncing a ball around, the next minute all hell breaks loose.

Ready or Not, an unexpected fun ride.

Bombshell. Story of Fox news top dog expecting sex from hot young reporters. Margot Robbie, Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman. How could it not be worth watching ?

Well, if there's a sex scene, it's likely to include a fat, ugly, old white guy, too.

No, thank you.

No sex. Fat old white guy = main character. Margot Robbie, looking good. Just a movie, not a documentary.

I’d have tried to write in some kind of perverted dream sequence showcasing only the ordnance. You know. For marketing purposes.

javadog 01-12-2020 10:50 AM

That probably would have helped. A movie about a fat old guy harassing a bunch of women wouldn’t be my first choice to blow 10 or 15 bucks.

Crowbob 01-12-2020 10:54 AM

Definitely not a date movie if both of you are, you know, binary.

It was free.:D

That is just plain funny.

1917

A simple story shown through the lens of war. It's great and gives the experience of being shot at--impact, then sound.

Sam Mendes does cinematography very, very well.

Crowbob 01-12-2020 07:41 PM

On Body And Soul, Netflix.

2017. Hungarian/Slovakian dubbed in English. Uncomfortable but very interesting. Superb acting by first-timers. Male lead born in 1953, female lead born in 1981. Sort of artsy-fartsy psychological examination of the intersection of autistic spectrum disorder and a slaughterhouse.

I recommend it.

It was worthwhile watching because of them...esp Margot.:)
Other than that...not so much.
