Yep, but after all this time it is dispersed over hundreds of square miles. Some of it will eventually wash up on a shore somewhere. No one will really know where it came from.

If ever washed ashore, there's endless miles of shoreline and millions of crevice. The chance of any pieces found would be a miracle. Also, massive amounts of other garbage are floating out there but if able to find it is like a spec of a spec on a rug.

Now they are saying FL450 ? I don't think so. too heavy at this point, I'll bet the level off temp dev. was WAY above standard. It would have been, as we called it back in the day "hanging on the fans" But who knows? NO transponder but some kinda ground radar got a skin paint on something and did a plot of some kind and THEY called it FL450. Still way too much disinformation and confliction... Best clues will come from what they find in that captain's flt. simulator's data base. If THEY ever tell us. This ain't no Tom Clancey read........This is real time and a lot more concerning.

So lets see, somehow someone unknown discovers the aircraft is number 404 built and decides the HTTP error is so awesome he (or she) makes a entire airplane and a couple hundred people vanish for a big laugh?

Seems the airline would have quickly realized the pilot's family was missing. Like, as soon as they tried to offer support in the family's time of need. So it seems likely the Malaysian govt has known of the potential for pilot involvement from day one, or day two anyway. Assuming they aren't total idiots.

From what I've been able to find, the family moved to their vacation home the day before the disappearance. No one is missing. It seems to be a domestic issue. Two of the kids are adults and not living at home anyway, and the third is still a student. Doesn't appear to be suspicious, IMO. Could be part of an emotional imbalance in the pilot, however.

An earlier article mentioned that the authorities had disassembled and removed the flight simulator equipment from the pilot's home so it could be investigated offsite. With the level of competence exhibited so far I wonder about the chances of them reassembling a one-off home-made flight simulator such that they can actually get it to function again? One would think it would have been easier and safer just to get another pilot over there to test it in situ.
