But wouldn't a plane crashing into the ocean and broken into little pieces create hundreds or thousands of pieces of floating debris? Stuff that would never sink?

Yep, but after all this time it is dispersed over hundreds of square miles. Some of it will eventually wash up on a shore somewhere. No one will really know where it came from.

If ever washed ashore, there's endless miles of shoreline and millions of crevice. The chance of any pieces found would be a miracle. Also, massive amounts of other garbage are floating out there but if able to find it is like a spec of a spec on a rug.

The connection of the pilot and Anwar Ibraham should raise alarm.
Top politician Anwar Ibrahim denies link to captain of missing Malaysia Airlines jet | South China Morning Post

And the Anwar Ibraham sodomy case? WTF?

Mr Anwar was sentenced to five years in jail in another long-running sodomy case only hours before Malaysia Airlines MH370 took off on its doomed flight to Beijing.

On Saturday his Keadilan (justice) party, one of three that make up the opposition, warned the government not to implicate the opposition in suggestions in some foreign media that Zaharie Ahmad Shah, the pilot, hijacked the aircraft because he was angry at Mr Anwar’s sentencing.

Mr Anwar was acquitted in 2012, for a second time, on charges that he sodomised a male aide, after a judge argued DNA evidence was unreliable. The government subsequently appealed. Three judges in a federal court granted the appeal, leading to Mr Anwar’s latest sentence.

Now they are saying FL450 ? I don't think so. too heavy at this point, I'll bet the level off temp dev. was WAY above standard. It would have been, as we called it back in the day "hanging on the fans" But who knows? NO transponder but some kinda ground radar got a skin paint on something and did a plot of some kind and THEY called it FL450. Still way too much disinformation and confliction... Best clues will come from what they find in that captain's flt. simulator's data base. If THEY ever tell us. This ain't no Tom Clancey read........This is real time and a lot more concerning.

That plane has got to have landed somewhere. Seems they went to a lot of trouble if the intention was just to kill the passengers.

Found this while browsing some site. Thought it was weird.

“Was looking at the Wikipedia page for the missing Malaysia Airlines, and noticed that it's was [sic] the 404th 777 Boeing produced,” Redditor i-am-SHER-locked wrote.

“An HTTP 404 error mean [sic] not found, which in this case is oddly approiate [sic] for the status of the aircraft, or just a concidence [sic]. Coincidence, i think not!”

Wow.

That makes as much sense as chemtrail wacos.

So lets see, somehow someone unknown discovers the aircraft is number 404 built and decides the HTTP error is so awesome he (or she) makes a entire airplane and a couple hundred people vanish for a big laugh?

Man I don't know I just thought it was funny and coincidental if true. Reading all the weird theories people come up with is interesting to me.

Flight 370 was operated with a Boeing 777-2H6ER serial number 28420, registration 9M-MRO. The 404th Boeing 777 produced, it first flew on 14 May 2002, and was delivered new to Malaysia Airlines on 31 May 2002. The aircraft is powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 892 engines, and is configured to carry 282 passengers – 35 business, 247 economy. 9M-MRO had accumulated 53,460 hours and 7,525 cycles in service, and had not previously been involved in any major incidents; a minor incident while taxiing at Shanghai Pudong International Airport in August 2012 resulted in a broken wingtip. Its last maintenance 'A' check was carried out on 23 February 2014.
Quote:
The Boeing 777 aircraft has a stellar reputation. With over 1000 777s built, MH370 will represent the fourth hull loss of the 777, and the second fatal accident, after the Asiana crash at San Francisco, which coincidentally was also a Boeing 777-200ER. Also coincidentally, all four 777 hull losses are of the 777-200ER variant.

Why would a terrorist need such a large plane - such a high profile plane - when they could get any private jet to do the job without all the attention?

I suppose he could have landed it nice and soft and just let it sink. No broken pieces.

Seems the airline would have quickly realized the pilot's family was missing. Like, as soon as they tried to offer support in the family's time of need. So it seems likely the Malaysian govt has known of the potential for pilot involvement from day one, or day two anyway. Assuming they aren't total idiots.

Have they been able to locate the family yet? IF not, then no doubt the captain did it...

Cause they don't have nuke to hide in the plane when they fly it into the US... They're filling it full of firecrackers. Low budget op.

From what I've been able to find, the family moved to their vacation home the day before the disappearance. No one is missing. It seems to be a domestic issue. Two of the kids are adults and not living at home anyway, and the third is still a student. Doesn't appear to be suspicious, IMO. Could be part of an emotional imbalance in the pilot, however.

An earlier article mentioned that the authorities had disassembled and removed the flight simulator equipment from the pilot's home so it could be investigated offsite. With the level of competence exhibited so far I wonder about the chances of them reassembling a one-off home-made flight simulator such that they can actually get it to function again? One would think it would have been easier and safer just to get another pilot over there to test it in situ.
