				Military Channel

So why would they change the name to the American Hero's channel??? First show i saw on it was about the Israeli special forces at Entebbe (sp?) Next was several shows on the CIA training the Afghanis who later became Al Khada and then the CIA fighting them? Please change the name back...

It is all part of Discovery's ongoing efforts to fragment and deteriorate the quality of their programming. When I was a little kid (in the glorious days before reality shows) used to watch Discovery all the time. Animals, Engineering, History, etc. Military's slide began with the change from Discovery Wings. Much like Speedvision > Speed History > H1

They should probably rename A & E (Arts and Entertainment) to be the "Duck Dynasty" channel is that seems to be all they show. What a waste of bandwidth..

I will say I do like the ID (Investigative Discovery) channel, lots of crime and forensic stuff on it. I suppose really good to take notes if you are a criminal

Programs about history, science and learning cost money to make. Honey Boo-Boo is cheap to make, as are all the lockup raw shows, pawn, *****y housewives, shark tanks, etc. Cheap killed all the good channels.
