Well this thread makes me think back to the 1950's when my father had a garage and sold cars etc. In the parts bin was something that looked like an SU carburretor. Some of you will be very familiar with those if you had a British car. I was probably about 9 at the time. This was in the UK. If I remember right he said it was to pee in when you were flying. As the last aircraft he flew was a Lancaster this would make sense. I don't think there is any provision for a washroom in a Lancaster. Guy

NB there are far more convenient places to pee than through the spark plug hole of a Porsche engine( please check that it is switched of, and on BDC at the time).

For pure amusement I googled "does a lancaster aircraft have a toilet". This thread is quite amusing as it provides historical instances of what happens if you need to go while flying a B17 or a Lancaster. Guy.

No. Not now, not ever, not even going to try it. I'll pull over and mark a bit of territory if needed. angela

Likewise. My friends give me hell because I can't just stand up, turn around and piss with everybody hanging around. I gotta go find a tree. Or a bathroom stall if I gotta be civilized about it. Hell, just to dispel rumors as to why, I had to whip it out and show everybody that my junk was at least properly proportioned to a fella that's nearly six and a half feet tall.
