Their Hydraulic Lifting Platform build is also worth a look.

Am I the only one that feels that the last thing they need is more side jobs?

I was going to say...
Get the damn mini done.

I think it's great and enjoy the extra content.

Agreed.... and after all this time they have to be getting bored with Binky. Hell most of us can’t stick to one.... or two projects at a time. Why should they?

sc_rufctr 06-20-2019 11:52 PM

I've been trying to stick to one project at a time until it's 100% finished.... Seems like an almost impossible task. :(

A few weeks ago I got my wood working tools out to make a new small table for my bedroom... Then I started building new speakers for my surround system, then I started a new full width monitor stand for my study room. All three projects are about 40% complete now.

I was hoping the addition to this thread was regarding new Binky material. I have watched both episodes of Escargot, but all they have been doing so far is disassembling a truck.
I too would rather see how they are going to fit the rest of the necessary crap under the hood of the Mini.
But since it is their time, I will watch and wait.

Best
Les

I am not sure they intend to get the Mini done, ever.

I'm starting to think it is all about marketing their YouTube channel and not the projects.
Money talks.

We know the guys are aware of the complaints that they're taking too long to build "the damn thing", because occasionally they'll film a procedure with a stopwatch in the scene. Also, at one time, they had regular jobs and this was a weekend project. Don't know if that's still true, because YouTube CAN make you rich.

Jeez, how many of us wish we were doing something interesting enough that people around the globe would follow on YouTube?

Here's your chance to a modern version of Project Binky.

OK, between the release cable and the manifold, these guys are certifiable. Great, ingenious work

brshap 09-29-2019 04:18 PM

This is far and away my favorite youtube series. Just incredible work.

astrochex 09-29-2019 04:54 PM

It seems like they are finally getting close. Three or four more episodes maybe? Including one for livery and graphics.

I would also want to see video of the car in action.
