I have been playing with it for a few minutes, seems nice.

There doesn't seem to be a way to save a subforum as a favorite.

Each time I open the app, I have to navigate through to get to OT.

Open Tapatalk
Click Pelican
Click Miscellaneous
Scroll down
Click OT

Am I missing a way to add OT to the favorites? App appears to create the Fav list automatically.

Workaround: Jailbreak with Blackra1n and run Backgrounder. This keeps the app on the correct page when you close Tapatalk - great for jumping in and out throughout the day.

I think the errors are probably related to the intermittent PHP issues which are kinda bad right now.

Bumping an older thread. Would the tapatalk users recommend it?
I can barely read the forum without my readers because of the lack of a pinch zoom for this forum on the iPhone.

I have it for my android. I don't use it here, I use the iPhone skin and it works well on my android. I don't like tapatalk since I don't like the way it displays. I have gotten used to the way I can use the mobile format.

The only reason I bought it was to post photos to a similar forum. The photos thing doesn't work here.

Tapatalk works OK for the forum. I use it on my iPhone and iPad. It will not let you see any flash video so the YouTube vids posted are just useless.

You can send and receive PMs with it.

+1 to the above. It's a nice little app. I don't like how they're trying to push their upgrade (which they charge for) though. Why do I need to buy it twice? So I just use the "old" version and am content with it.

Was working great until this week, now I'm getting an error message that the tapatalk plug in is not installed on this forum.
Doesn't work at all.

My request - let me browse the forum in normal mode as opposed to the iPhone "optimized" view.

Stopped working last weekend,
Wonder if Pelican turned something off.
It really sucks using my iPhone in their special iphone mode that I can't get out of. No photo zooming, no pm replies etc.
If they had made an iPhone mode that worked well it would be fine. But the limited functionality of what they have sucks...

Can't you just go to the bottom of the page and switch to normal view? I can use the iPhone view or the normal view on my android just like on my PC. Is the iPhone stuck with the iPhone mode?

Safari is not honored in "Normal View"

The solution is to use Chrome on iOS.

In Chrome on the upper right is an icon, 3-4 horizontal bars.

Tap that, scroll down to "Request Desktop Version"

Full functionality restored.
