I don't like the way the girl was handled, but she was told to leave and she just walked around ignoring him, yelling across the street. And just because there's a video, nothing is shown of when they first arrived. What we all see is a very, very small part of the whole story. If upon arrival, he jumped out and immediately started his interaction that way, he was way out of line. I wasn't there. Neither were any of us and to try and make blanket statements based on that video is irresponsible. Also, people trying to debate police etiquette or processes trying to use this video as a talking point is unfair. We're all bigger than that.

Uh, no...
![]() The kid who shot the video said that things had been going on for quite some time before he started filming, and when it picks up we see Rambo running around, falling, telling people to both sit down and leave, and when they didn't obey his orders and got mouthy, his ego got bruised and he went ballistic, grabbing bikini girl and slamming her down. The cops were called because a mob had descended on a private pool in a gated community. Rambo was outnumbered by mouthy teens who didn't want to listen to him and chose not to leave. He lost control. So I'll ask again: Wasn't crowd dispersion the goal of the police in this situation, and wouldn't pepper spray have been an effective tool?

![]() Why do people ignore all of the facts of this case? Are you watching too much cable news? These kids were trespassing and asked to leave, damaging neighborhood property, threatening adult neighbors, and starting fights. Is that your definition of "regular black"?! Because I know plenty of black people that go to work each day, support their families, and respect authority just like I do. NONE of the BS that these kids were engaging in would fly at my house with my kids, nor would it fly in any household with responsible parents of ANY color.

Those types of HOA's and facilities are very common in this part of TX, they are "the norm" To get into the facility you need a pass key individually assigned and coded to you to open the gate. Once inside you sign in, name, address, and number of guests that you are bringing with you. You are typically limited a maximum number of guests. In this case 2. Reportedly most of these kids knew each other from either the neighborhood or school. If you have as few as 10 residents who brought in guests you've got 30 kids who are legitimately allowed to be there. Even 30 kids in a pool that size is going to feel like a lot. Reportedly some kids tried to hop the fence and surely some succeeded. The question then becomes how many of "the mob" were residents and guests of residents and how many were not. As far as the kids starting the fight? So far there have been 3 people who publicly stated that the fight started after racial slurs were used by white adults who initiated the physical contact. I have yet to see anyone who claims otherwise do so in a public forum. I tend to give more credibility to people unafraid to show their faces.

Or that fat white guy in the video who walks around following the cop to make sure he "cleans up the place"?

Wow...press conference by his attorney revealed a lot of the background of what officer had dealt with just before responding to this call....wasn't expecting that. Dude was understandably stressed although it doesn't justify his behavior...just explains it

This thread is proof that if you are looking for racism, you can always find it.

which could explain some of them developing a 'disdain' for some... as for those regular folks you mentioned.... we seldom see them on TV now do we.. you know likes those MUESLI for peace... and the ones that do dare show & speak... they UNCLE TOM them to death accusing them of selling out to the man.. when I came here I rode in the back of the bus with them to HS... as that is were they & foreigners were told be.. years have passed & we had progress.. I've saw such positive changes in America as years went .. only to watch it all wash away.. with lots of help from their own.. O.. and the press... Rika |

This is about compliance and those that refuse to understand the concept. Or who have been told that cops are the bad guys and snitches get stitches etc. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes here. Gonna see it again and again as polite society unravels.

What a sad country we live in:
Miami-Dade schools remove principal after his post about police controversy | Miami Herald Miami Herald Apparently a principal didn't agree with the mob so he lost his job for stating his opinion that the officer did nothing wrong. “He did nothing wrong, he was afraid for his life. I commend him for his actions.” In Miami, that statement online will get you fired.

I don't have a lot of sympathy for people who feel the need to post personal opinions in an official capacity on social media. That Miami principal had nothing whatsoever to do with what happened in McKinney and he was inviting controversy by posting on the matter under his real name. If I did that and were a public figure or used my real name and it in any way, shape or form reflected bad on my employer, I'd be canned too.
