1000 posts

Well, I finally hit it - 1000 posts.

I've been on here since 12/15/2004, nearly 11-1/4 years ago. I remember reading Wayne's accounts of the 959 and 962 purchases. I remember his assistance in the sting operation against whomever had the stolen flat 12 engines. I always enjoyed Jack Olsen's posts. Who was it that took an early 911 to Buttonwillow and was asked by Patrick Long if he could drive his car? Great video!

I love this place, enjoy reading what you all have to say, poo poo some of it , but in the end this has been my go-to internet destination for a long time.

Cheers!

Cheers! And thanks!

Patrick Long drove Chad Plavan's car first at Willow Springs and later at Chuckwalla. (And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that two weeks ago, I got to ride along with (and drive) Patrick around the test track at Weissach.)

I've been here a little over 15 years and feel like I've posted a lot at seven eights of a post per day. Some post counts are unbelievable.

There is no other website I have been following this long. Despite the fact that I rarely drive my 911 anymore and shamelessly leave it to the shop for valve adjustment.

Thanks everyone!

Just got back from instructing at the San Diego Performance Driving School. This is the fourth time I've instructed there, and as always it never disappoints. It's honestly one of the high points of the year for me. I've included a shot of my friend's sorta-well set up 944.

Jack, I hope you've got a thread somewhere here about your test drive w/ P. Long. I'll search it out.

Those of you with high post counts, I guess that comes from being a regular contributor. I think I'll get a bit more gabby!

My post count is absurd.

I have more posts in the Random pictures thread alone than most people have overall.

If you subtract the random pics thread (over 13K), the Stijn thread (another 13K) and the How about a joke thread I have a very average count.
