^that protection system was a unfortunate thing the car has. I'm thinking when the saleperson starts talking it up I will say:
"where is the deactivation button in case there is a zombie apocalypse?"
The salesperson will laugh half-heartedly out of obligation. Then I will say:
"No seriously, where is the opt out for the system? If someone comes flying across my hood, it was deliberate. Really- how do you turn it off?"

That could save some lives @ Cars and Coffee. Good on Ford.

Haha.

That parking lot reminds me of the one in Walnut Creek.

How dare you??? Heresy on this board. Have to admit, I like the mechanical details learned so far. Magneride suspension on the short options list, the Brembo brakes, the power. A sleeper, if you will. But..no place for this old man.

What is that spot trying to say?

Mustang drivers are dicks who will drive recklessly and blow past you in a parking stack to snag the last spot?

If the guys in the Dodge hit a garage support and burned to death it would have been acceptable.

I liked it even for being way out in left field as far as responsible behavior. Green Beetle was sweet.

Its a take off on the chase scene in the movie Bullitt.

It would have been cool if he buckled his seatbelt.

Boy, I can't believe the self-important haters here. Cute little clip, cute little girl, cute little car. I think it's great that there appear to be car enthusiasts working at Ford these days.

And yes, Steve McQueen has a son. His name is Chad. I've met him several times over the years at R Gruppe gatherings, and have even shared a racetrack with him. A friend of mine even bought a motorcycle from him a few years ago, an old Matchless. Nice guy.

buddy of mine had a Bullit signed by Chad.

Thought this thread would be about GM's announcement of autonomous vehicles coming in 2019, but I guess not.
