HELP: need lug nut key or ideas

purchased 911 project from across US and seller didn't have lug nut key. Can anyone help identify correct key i'll need? i tried the emergency lug nut removal tool from Oreilly's with no luck. About to get "western" with it if i can't find key. Thanks in advance

Mcguard wheel lock co. Take some putty and push it on to get the pattern and send it to them and they will make you one.

I traced mine, made a CAD drawing and cnc milled one out, if you have a local machine shop they might be able/willing to help you

Call your Porsche dealer and ask if they have the McGuard master key set. My local dealer did and I drove over. They brought out the master set found the key number that matched and sold me the matching socket. bada bing

edit some tire shops have the master set also

One of the reasons I dislike locking lugs - lost keys. Another - failed mechanism.

Spent significant time using a carbide deburring bit and Dremel helping a pal remove one on his car without damaging the Fuchs wheel. The 3 that had not failed went into the recycling bin.

There are 24 or 26 different keys for the McGuard locks. Porsche dealers used to all have a complete set of the keys. I'm not sure if they still do but I bet most of them still have the set.

You should be able to go to a Porsche dealer and have them removed and they can also tell you which key needs to be ordered.

Thanks all for feedback. Actually found a different emergency left hand screwing nut tool and got them to budge free.

Once removed, throw them as far into the woods as possible, replace with standard lug nuts.

If they are ruined when removing, just trash them.
