Installing RS panel and this happened

I am installing RS door panels and I have this mismatch on the bottom where one of the the screws go. Actually I think another one is going to be the same. Any ideas, it is off by about 1/4" The black thing is the door panel and it is located by those plastic clips so the panel really cant be moved around.

You can either drill an new hole in the door, in the panel, or use one of these fasteners...

Enlarge the hole and use a rivnut. Even though the hole is now somewhat oval it should work since there’s so little load on the fastener.

mine ('76) secured into a piece that backed up the door panel and move side to side at least a 1/2"...

are all the fastener loose? if not try loosening everything and slightly tighten in a circular pattern around the perimeter after seeing if it will offending fastener will go home. see if each one can give a little to make them all line up enough

as others have said, on my cars, the nuts in the door are mounted in slots (sort of) so they have some play or movement to them, a fair amount as I recall. Not all that different than the seat mounting points in impact bumper cars.
