Wire path from fender well to inside

I need to get a wire from the fender well into the car. It can be into the frunk or behind the dash, but I don't see an obvious place to go through.

Does anyone know the best place to drill a hole to get from point a to point b?

An obvious one is where the rol bar goes through or one of the other oe perforations like gas or turn signals

When I added the fan for my front oil cooler fan I ran it along next to the oil lines, then followed the AC lines up into the evaporator box area. Then up into the trunk, then through the instrument cluster area.

And I hate the work frunk. It is just totally stupid. Do you call the rear trunk in a 914 or Boxster a rrunk? It is just a trunk, it makes zero difference if it in in the front of rear of a vehicle. Even calling it a "boot" is way better than a silly made up word. Just this old man's opinion. Now get off my lawn!

Wow, what a view without that pesky tire and fender in the way!

I forgot to add that I need to get from the fender well to the inside on the passenger side which is slightly different since the passenger side doesn't have the gas filler.

I added a hole through the fender into the frunk to run the wiring to my Carerra style oil cooler fan on my SC. I just used a rubber grommet with the wiring. The factory did it that way in several places, so I wasn't too concerned with adding a new hole.

passenger side is pretty much a mirror image except for the gas, put a grommeted hole anywhere out of the way, near the stock wiring is a good place to add another hole

Put it through the grommet where the horn or headlight wire bundle comes through and you wont need to make a new hole.

Thanks for those excellent photos.

I have a powered antenna that mounted to the plate that I highlighted with the red square. I'd like to go through somewhere in the area shown by the yellow circle, but it looks like there are two a walls there and I don't know what's in-between so I don't want to just go drilling holes.

I went through nearer the front of the frunk near the cooler fan mounting location. I took the spare out to gain access to a low position and drilled from the inside out, being aware of where it would protrude on the inner fender.
