Porsche Crest 1975 911S Targa

Bought from original owner, did body off restoration, engine rebuild top/bottom by Mazuro Motors. Still runs beautifully, drive periodically when it's not 95 degrees & I'm not working on it!

Found my 1st through a friend in 2018. 1985 R.o.W. Carrera. Car sat for 20 years not running...with 86k miles. Got the car running and have been making it my own ever since. Now has 148k on it.
Get out and drive.

83 SC that I’ve had for about a month now. Still needs some love before it runs right.

My only 911.
Started out as an 85.

Worked on it for a few years and made a 73 recreation.

Then sold a year later.

It's my current one and only. I was a sophomore in college, my dad saw an auction ad for a 911 and said to me, "let's go get this." It was a shell with it's engine in boxes and paper bags around it. I worked 3 jobs, one of which was at a Porsche dealership so I could get my parts for cost plus 10 to fund the restoration. I handed him wrenches, a father/daughter bonding experience. It took about 3 years. That was 1984. This is the 2nd restoration, started about 5 years ago. It's getting it's interior now. It started out as a 74 2.7 Sportmatic. SO MUCH FUN. Now it's a 3.0 manual. Also SO MUCH FUN.

My first 911

The 911 has always been my favorite car. My dad had a '66 when I was just a little guy. So after college and saving my nickels and dimes, I purchased my first 911, which is a 1968. That was 23 years ago. I still have it, and I'm sharing the car hobby with my kids!

Got my '79 SC Targa back in May. So happy with the car, but definitely a labor of love. It's so fun to be able to tinker with these bad boys, though. Already dreaming of the next one ;-)
