I kinda regret selling it, especially at the price I did. But, a few cars later, I'm back on the German bandwagon with a 1981 Porsche 911SC coupe (in dire need of a respray... Or at least a bath!):


There's a WEE bit of difference between the two!

New to me 72' 911T. Previous owner had it since 76'.

Bought 1st 911 in 2006 sight unseen off ebay in Florida for $10K, I was obsessed with 911 since I got a tangerine targa toy car in the 70s for my birthday (5th?). Parking lot picture is off the original ebay listing, and YES phone dials were basic stock in 84 model year (and the 6 foot antenna )

Currently 5 years into a repaint of a 85 ROW, whole other story, but still in love!!

85 Carrera. Picked up nearly 4 years ago. Had been sitting in a garage for 20 years not running...had 86k miles. Been tinkering with it making it my own and driving as mucj as I can. Car now has 150k.

My first 911 purchased in March 2019.
1974 911 T salmon metallic with the original tweed and twill fabric seats. I purchased the car as my retirement gift and project to myself. Slowly working to replace all of the rubber parts on the car. suspension rubber window and door rubber, also all of the fuel lines and vacuum lines need to be replaced. Other than that the car is a pleasure to drive and I’m always getting compliments on the car.

So I’m replying after a 4 yr hiatus from Porsche. Fell in love after a glimpse of a 911 in 1976. Got an 84 in 08 but had to part with it after losing my job but… I just cannot live without it so am back in a 996 (not pictured.. also black on black fortunately lol). Anyway here’s a photo of how I got my 84 and how it was whennI sold it. Sad… but am back.
