Owned a couple of years now, unfortunately haven’t found the time yet to enjoy it quite the way I envisioned. I’ve done a few things to it but otherwise it sits as bought from ZWECK. I’m sure the original builder could be on here and still be recognizable. Hopefully next year the clock changes and I have time to drive it more

My first 911, purchased a couple of years ago and sat patiently waiting until I have time to go through it properly before putting it back on the road. That time is coming soon

My first air-cooled! 1975 Carrera, very original California car and recently purchased from long term owner.
Will be carrying out some sympathetic preservation work this year. Looking forward to interacting with folks on this great forum, I will have questions!

Hey Everyone! Here are some pictures of my first 911. It’s a 1976 911s and I picked it up about a year ago. Tons of fun and the kids love going for rides in it. Still a few things I want to do over time including gauge restoration, new seat covers, and maybe some new seat belts to start.

1983 SC Cab. Not exactly a glamour shot, but after I get it back from the shop I'll post something a little cleaner!

Just got my hands on this awesome 1976 Porsche 911S about a year ago, and it's been a blast to drive! The kids love riding in it, and I'm planning to tackle a few projects soon, like restoring the gauges, getting new seat covers, and maybe some fresh seat belts. Here are some pics of my baby!

This is my first Porsche. I've always wanted a '87 to '89. However, when I retired and could afford one, I was drawn to the 2017 to 2019 model. In the end, I had an air cooled itch that needed to be scratched first. This was an auction find, a bit needy, but it's a great example. I think I enjoy working on it as much as driving it!
It's Cassis Red Metallic with a full Burgundy leather interior including the dash, full power seats with heat.

First Porsche 1970 911E

After 2 tours in Vietnam, I returned to my parent's home in Biloxi, Mississippi with my long-stored 1967 Mustang, manual shift 289. Growing up and learning to drive Volkswagens, and having saved some money, I was eager to buy something sportier. Porsche was always my dream car, so I started searching along the Gulf Coast between New Orleans and Pensacola, Florida. Bingo! The Pensacola Porsche-Audi dealer had a new 1970 911E in Irish Green. They were ready to deal. After negotiation, they took my Mustang in for a trade, and I drove my new Porsche home to Biloxi. What a thrill! This beautiful machine was beyond all my expectations. I loved that Porsche so much I owned it for 38 years, before sadly parting with it and acquiring a newer Porsche. Fortunately, that 1970 911E still exists with a Porsche enthusiast who fully restored it to OEM spec. He contacted me through a search of owners, and I was able to provide him with all 38 years of history, photographs, papers and service records. We remain in contact, and I am able to see that Porsche whenever I am in his part of California.

My first post on the forum, so high everyone!

1981 911 SC 60k original miles. I bought from original owner who took meticulous care of the car. Most of those miles were accumulated during the first 20 years of its life. In the last 20 years the car mostly sat covered in the prior owners garage with less than 2k miles being accumulated during that time.

It needs a good detail, but we’re headed off to the right direction as I’ve completely rebuilt the cis system as a result of vacuum leaks, new brake lines, fluid flush, complete service, new shift bushings, keeping in its glory!

Congrats. That's a good looking SC. The most important thing you can do is to drive it hard and frequently. Put several tanks of fresh fuel with Chevron Techron Concentrate added (even if you buy Chevron gas). Resist the urge to replace or rebuild things if they are working ("If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"). The more you drive it, the better it will run.

My 1985 Targa

Bought on Bring a Trailer, so I brought a trailer from Michigan to New Jersey, and brought this home! 595 miles of sunshine, but the last 5 miles were in a torrential downpour. On the plus side, it was a good test of the roof seals (they sealed ).

It has had very limited use for the last 10 years so my next step is taking it to Rennstatt Racing in Ann Arbor for a once-over.
