Nice shot, Kevin.

Now I suppose you want me to leave your reference to "Scruffy Europeanus" alone? Hah!

I think we may be going in circles here, if mr9146 happens to be related to TLG Tony... I'm working on confirming that the title on the 914-6 chassis is clean, but the psychotic drunk who owns the yard where it's stored keeps changing the rules on what can be removed.

New Year's Day: The Reel Inn (at PCH and Topanga) will indeed be our pick up spot for those of you from the west side and up north. We'll be there about 9:30-10:am

This is some kind of crazy, schizophrenic thread. I just put the ducktail back on, with tires and brake pads for the 12/13 run.

Who's goin'?

Let's do Latigo Cyn. instead of Encinal. Really tight, but really fun for us horsepower challenged guys.

Scruffius Europeanus?

No, no, no. It's Scruffius-Teutonicus.

Scruffius Domesticus will never be in the same league as Scruffius-Teutonicus. It's in the breeding.

(En Espanol, es "Escruffio-Alemanio".)

We could split up at the top and the guys who want to could go down via Decker (similar to Latigo on the twisty scale) and the others could go down Encinal, which is more sweeping and smooth. Just a thought.

After the last one, I came back up (home) over Latigo. Damn, I had forgotten how crazy that road is. I can't imagine living up there and driving that every day as a 'commute' in a regular car. I think it would get tiresome quickly....but you'd have forearms like Popeye

Decker can be too fun, Jack and Tyson can attest.

I used to ride up, then descend Latigo on a bicycle. Once, toward PCH, I hit about 60 mph. You haven't lived until you've two-wheel drifted a Colnago Master with 12-21 gearing, and iffy Campy brakes.

that's redundant.

try doing 50 on pavement on knobbies. Or just 30 coming off of Baldy Rd when your front wheel rolls off the rim after a quick puncture flat
